Hah, when I bought GME in Nov 2020 I was expecting it to maybe in best case scenario reach 60 like it had done 2 times when new console cycles released. Holy shit was I wrong. If the brokerages didn't cut out the ability to buy, we wouldve gone to the thousands, and I would've mostly likely come out with a much bigger profit. But I can't be mad, I've learned so much on my trading journey that it's now only a matter of time before I make those gains look like peanuts.

That may be true most novice investors are in mem stocks. I made 12k on options today. 4k days before. I, am not a novice and understand what is happening with not only AMC but many other stocks. most people are not only in it for the money but to put pressure on the financial system for fair market trading for retail. Buddy, my god. This is where you have to practice critical thinking and I don't mean that to be an ass. If the purpose is to communicate when to buy and sell AMC they wouldn't go through the extremely convoluted means of using morse code within their algos when they simply could use an encrypted messaging application. There are so many ways now to communicate through secure encrypted channels with no obtainable records of said interaction and it's extremely more convenient and safer then hiding morse code in algos. Occam's razor is not on your side.

It's a good question. Unfortunately most people seem to be under the belief that this is all normal or healthy. The notion that Russia are the world's bad guys and the USA the enforcer of peace and justice is a huge distraction from what's going on here at home.

Except your comment seems to imply that China won't economically support Russia, which it will. China doesn't want all the negative attention the physical invasion is drawing, and how it's uniting USA and Europe together, but it absolutely wants Ukraine to be controlled by Russia, because then it can do the same thing to Taiwan. Also, I don't think Putin would invade Ukraine without China's approval, since he knows he will rely on China during sanctions. This is not the first time he's done it, so he's quite experienced. Also, I think the Russian oil/gas is where the money is, which NATO/US hasn't touched yet simply because Europe needs it. I think Putin knows this very well, which causes him to be confident that the West won't do anything meaningful. P.S: Xi said they should pursue peace with Ukraine meaning they should resolve the invasion quickly, where Russia would take the W. They're sieging Kyiv just within 1 day of the invasion, and some are saying they're going to overpower Kyiv in 2-3 days. There's no way Russia would somehow have a diplomatic compromise in this position.
