We know that Satoshi was partial to Ring Signatures and Stealth Addresses as evidenced in bitcointalk.com
On authority from inside Japan it has been said that the paranoid Yakuza leadership pressured Satoshi into making Bitcoin traceable against his wishes.
The Yakuza wanted to know if the converted Yen paid to the Japanese Government in the form of bribes was to be used against them.
The Yakuza demanded transparency from Satoshi so they would have an advantageous blackmail tactic in the event they were double crossed by the Japanese Government in respect of Japan’s drug trade.
The Yakuza and it’s affiliated gangs control drug trafficking in Japan, especially that of methamphetamine.
This is a major factor in why Bitcoin first emerged and is still widely used in the underground dark net market drug scene.
Satoshi ultimately abandoned the Bitcoin project as it regrettably ended up going against his true vision for a secure, private, untraceable digital currency.
Satoshi has not touched his Bitcoins as a matter of “Honour”. He is not interested in being tracked. It was not his original vision. It has nothing to do with the money.
As for Satoshi.. He decided to involve himself with the forking of Bytecoin into BitMonero.
Monero means “Coin” in Esperanto.
“BitMonero” quite literally translates directly as “Bitcoin”.
BitMonero was to be Satoshi’s second chance.
Bitcoin 2.0
He could still remain anonymous and continue to pursue his vision through the BitMonero project.
Five of the seven lead developers for Monero remain anonymous to this day.
Satoshi walks amongst us.
