Yesterday's Market Movements: Down

After yesterday's crazy push, we cooled off and fell back dramatically from 3800 sats down to 3600 satoshis??? ($0.24). The volume has also dropped significantly down to under 1000 BTC on Binance. On a brighter note, Bitcoin has continued to have a small steady climb, though still sitting at mid $6400s. Not much else to report, so take it easy.

TEMCO’s progress report!

Since KYC registration started, we are sure that many of you know TEMCO’s sales events are coming up soon. To think of what TEMCO has done so far, important partnerships, and news, we want to organize and inform you of what we have done so far.

As per TEMCO being the first Supply Chain Data Platform on Bitcoin Network through RSK, we are very excited (just as everyone else is) about the upcoming events; but before we go forward, here are few recent events that happened in past couple of months.

First, as you all know, TEMCO, has been invested by Korea Investment Partners. So just wanted to mention briefly that how amazing it is to receive funds from the largest investment firm in Korea. KIP is a traditional venture capital, who have invested in successful companies such as Naver, Kakao Talk and many more. Knowing that KIP is a big deal, and TEMCO has proven to be invested by them, Coin Desk reached out to us to shout out about the event and tell the world about TEMCO being the first dApp on Bitcoin Network, through RSK’s side-chain smart contract technology.

Foundation X and TEMCO are now partners!

On Oct 16th, TEMCO’s CEO, Scott Yoon, announced the successful investment and a strategic partnership with Venture Capital/Accelerator “Foundation X”.

Jay Hwang, the CEO of “Foundation X” and a Partner at “FuturePlay” mentioned that he strongly supports TEMCO’s ambitious goals, “through this partnership, ‘Foundation X’ and ‘TEMCO’ will not only develop the first Bitcoin-based dApp in Korea but will also revolutionize the logistics market through blockchain. Business Intelligence (BI) tool, will provide businesses to utilize Big Data stored on the blockchain.”

“Foundation X” will not only act as TEMCO’s investor but also as an accelerator. The “Foundation X” team will help TEMCO reach its true potential by investing in key technologies, support TEMCO’s upcoming TGE(Token Generation Event), and provide consultation for business model development.

Scott Yoon, the CEO and co-founder of TEMCO, is proud to be a partner of “Foundation X”, stated, “we are honored to be supported and funded by a leading accelerator such as ‘Foundation X’. The TEMCO team will work hard to meet the high expectations set up by the high-profile partnership.”

Monero at the 35C3 – 35th Chaos Communication Congress, 27.-30.December 2018, Leipzig, Germany

As in 2017 there will also a Monero Assembly during 35C3 in Leipzig, Germany (here is a bit of historic background).

The Chaos Computer Club (CCC) is the largest (and oldest) hacker association in europe (see Wikipedia). Originating from Germany, it has spread over Europe and organizes numerous events. Most important the annual Chaos Communication Congress between christmas and new years eve. It is considered one of the largest (over 13,000 attendees) events of this kind, alongside the DEF CON in Las Vegas. Besides the top-class Main Talks, which all get recorded there are other formats such as assemblies and so called “self organized sessions”.

In 2016 the RIAT Crypto Assembly (see 33C3 Wiki and cache) featured crypto-based workshops with Monero, and Tomu 2FA devices and was the initial (mini) implementation of Monero at C3. IN 2016 the Bitcoin Assembly was the only other “Cryptocurrency” Assembly. In 2017 we had a combined RIAT/Monero/Bitcoin “Village”. The Monero December meetup in Vienna served as a real-life meeting in order to prepare the Monero Assembly. Communication and organisation was via hackpad and reddit.

This year we are using the taiga wiki on taiga.getmonero.org to and the IRC channel #monero-ccc to coordinate. The next IRC meeting of the workgroup will be on 2018-11-07 17:00 UTC on "monero-community".
