Full NordVPN Reddit Review

I have been using NordVPN on 3 of my devices for just over a year now and here is my NordVPN Reddit Review. Please comment your thoughts below!

My Favourite Features:

Fully Anonymous - I paid for my subscription using bitcoin so there was no way to trace it back to me. They also claim to have a no-logs policy so there really is no way for anyone to trace anything I do online.

Security - I use their double encryption so all my traffic is sent through the VPN twice making it pretty much impossible for anyone to decrypt. I'm not aware of any other VPNs that currently offer this feature, but I ALWAYS have this turned on when torrenting. They also have a kill switch which has kicked in for me a few times. It stops you from downloading torrents in the event that the VPN drops out.

Simplicity - The app is super simple to use, especially the mobile versions. My iPad is always connected without even having to open the app. I love the fact that I can have it installed on all my devices for the one price.

Price - They normally run discounts on their 3 year plan which is really cheap. I think for the moment they are one of the cheapest and as mentioned above they allow you to use multiple devices at no extra charge.

Worst Parts:

Speed - Most of the time the speed is great. But since I have the VPN pretty much always on I have noticed drops in speed sometimes. It’s not normally an issue because if I change the location that fixes the problem, but I wish I never had to do it in the first place.

Connectivity - I would say that for me I get a drop out at least once a month. I wish it never happens but it does. This is why it's so important that they have a killswitch to prevent my torrents from downloading while the VPN is reconnecting.

Bonuses:

Access to US Netflix - I travel a lot and when Im travelling outside the US my netflix changes and shows me less US shows and more shows local to the area. This often cuts out shows like House of Cards. But when I set my VPN to Washington DC I get all my shows back. You can also use this feature to access netflix shows from any country. Before using NordVPN I tried a few others and netflix detected the VPNs and wouldn't let me watch anything. NordVPN is the only one that has worked for this feature for me.

Cheaper flights - A friend of mine actually introduced me to this feature. I never knew that airline companies change their prices depending on which country you are booking from. All you need to do is set you country to somewhere in South America or Eastern Europe before opening a flight website and it will normally provide you with lower prices. You can still use your USD card to pay, and Google Chrome to translate the website back into english.

Conclusion:

While I dont think that NordVPN is perfect, I really do think they are one of the best VPN providers out at the moment. They have great encryption and decent speed. Even if they are not the best VPN they are definitely the best value overall.

Overall Rating: 4.5 / 5 Great Value

That’s my full NordVPN reddit review, would love to hear what everyone else thinks about NordVPN. I remember reading a lot of conflicting NordVPN reviews when I first signed up so I hope this one helps.

If you want to try it out they do have a 30 day money back guarantee. I did not personally test getting a refund this but I have heard that they honor it.

The lowest price I could find online at the time of writing this review was 70% off here:

Blockchain innovation

Who was the first to create the concept of the Blockchain?

Many would say "Satoshi Nakamoto" and be mistaken. Strange it may seem, but the concept of the blockchain was invented long before Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin as A Peer to Peer Electronic Cash System.

Let's have a look at the events preceding Bitcoin's blockchain appearance.

Our COO Fouad gives you a thorough and well-structured lecture on the topic on Quora: https://qr.ae/TWsFQk

After trading to a new monthly low at $7,670, bitcoin started an upside correction against the US Dollar. The BTC/USD pair broke the $8,000 resistance level to start the recent recovery. Moreover, there was a close above the $8,000 level and the 100 hourly simple moving average. As a result, the price climbed above the $8,150 and $8,200 resistance levels.

More importantly, yesterday’s highlighted major bearish trend line was breached with resistance near $8,080 on the hourly chart of the BTC/USD pair. The pair gained strength above $8,300 and surpassed $8,400. It even spiked above the $8,500 level and traded to a new weekly high at $8,525. At the moment, it seems like the price is facing resistance near the $8,500 level.

It might correct lower towards the $8,350 or $8,320 support. Moreover, the 23.6% Fib retracement level of the recent wave from the $7,670 low to $8,525 high is near $8,323 to provide support. If the price fails to stay above $8,300, it could correct lower towards the key $8,050 and $8,000 support levels. Besides, the 50% Fib retracement level of the recent wave from the $7,670 low to $8,525 high could provide support near $8,100.

Dr. Craig Wright explains the Japanese influence on Bitcoin

Article by Coingeek: Noah Bradley

Oscar Wilde once wrote, “History is merely gossip.” In many ways, this is correct, as historical accounts of what has transpired are often the stories as prepared through the writer’s eye and are, in some cases much more subjective than objective. Many “truths” about history have already been proven to be completely false and based on certain beliefs at the time.

Satoshi Nakamoto wrote about the truths and misconceptions attributable to writings on what has transpired before, emphasizing how Bitcoin can make it virtually impossible to relay anything but the actual facts of what is actually happening. Dr. Craig Wright discusses Satoshi’s writings in a new blog post and reiterates the Bitcoin founder’s ability to envision the future and see what would be needed to make the world a better place.

Satoshi was a studier of the Tokugawa form of government, which is a ruling system that relied on decentralization to prevail. Compared to Tokugawa, oppressive government systems prevent popular intellectual innovation and societal development. Tokugawa was also at the heart of some of the most massive growth and expansion periods in history.

Wright explains, based on Satoshi’s foresight, “Nakamoto delivered the thesis that true history was altered time and time again by those seeking to constitute what they saw was pure origin based on their own philosophy. The reconstruction through a series of overlays and changes leads to something radically different. The only stable part of history that Nakamoto noted was one of self-promotion and bragging.”

This can be proven through verifiable sources, including religious material that has been shown to change based on the writer’s perspective. Any time change is allowed but isn’t allowed to be audited, someone is going to exploit that vulnerability to further his or her own agenda.

Wright adds that he is attempting to bring order to more than just currency through crypto. He explains, “Bitcoin is a system that creates an ordered and structured history, one where changes can occur; but within the system, if exchange occurs, the nature of the change is recorded. In Bitcoin, we have the answer to Nakamoto’s history and his dilemma and problem.”

The blockchain allows for a completely immutable record of events, whether it be the creation of a contract, a month-long symposium on world hunger or the amount of money politicians receive through contributions. Storing data on the blockchain makes it impossible for anyone to appear later and try to alter the events or assert that what transpired didn’t take place — it’s all there and can easily be verified at any time.
