First of all you will want to get tails. You need to download it and flash it onto an empty USB key, you’ll need 8gb. Tails is a different OS, that hides you MAC address and pings your IP around the globe, 100x safer than a VPN and tor.
Next you’ll want to buy bitcoin. The simplest way for most people is using localbitcoin, coinbase etc. Bitcoin IS traceable, but unless your buying big amounts it is not worth anyone’s time or effort to trace your transactions. But, to be on the safe side, always tumble your bitcoin into an encrypted wallet. Usually tails comes with an electrum wallet so set that up and get your bitcoin into that before continuing.
Now that you have tails, and your bitcoin, you can proceed to buy. Open up tor on tails and go to dark.fail . Here you will see a list of verified markets. Pick whatever market and whatever product you’d like, create an account for that marketplace and proceed to checkout. Some require PGP keys and stuff like that but the ones that do usually show step by step how to do this and you won’t have an issue following it.
