Over time the movement of bitcoin (and therefore all of crypto) seems more and more tied to fiat currencies/stock market (in)stability and the big economies of the world. Evergrande, Covid, etc all moved the market. Black swan events will continue to do it. Whatever happens on Wall Street impacts Crypto and with institutional investors more and more involved, this imo isn't going to change. It's going to get worse. Is crypto turning into a playground for institutions?
It makes me worry that if we are ever truly going to be free of the influence of banks, fraudulent trading, and government then this has to change. I just don't see it happening. How does, or can, the crypto market, move on its own and give back power to the plebs. Thoughts?
