For the past several months I have been working on "The Bitcoin Card Game". The game was designed to be an educational tool to help players understand core Bitcoin concepts. I have been an educator for almost 10 years teaching 11 to 16 year old kids, and as the years progressed it became clear to me that learning through play is truly a powerful tool.
In The Bitcoin Card Game, players take on the role of miners within the Bitcoin network. Just like in the real network, players will start to compete to secure a bigger share of the total computational power of the network, in order to increase their chances of winning Block Rewards. Using the Bitcoin won, players have the opportunity to buy other cards that will help them to snatch victory. The game will help players understand concepts such as miner economics, mining fees, cold and hot wallets, private keys, 51% attacks, mining pools, blocks, block rewards, halving events and more!!
I truly believe that the game has significant educational value. My goal is to create a community behind the project and hopefully crowdfund its development.
Considering starting a crowdfunding campaign on https://geyser.fund/ but would love to grow the game's social media presence before doing so.
Any tips? Would you know any Bitcoin social media influencers / podcasters / youtubers who would be interested in helping me raise awareness about this educational tool? Any advice would be greatly appreciated <3
