I've experienced this several times on a bitcoin server that I was evaluating. The spread goes haywire, meaning that it can range from lowest to highest I've seen: [-1 650.00 <=> 2 650.00].
When this event occurs it is possible to sell for example price at 72 500 and buy at 69 850.
I have a sell transaction with an id of x and a buy one of x+1, where I do just that I sell at the high price and buy at the very low price. Personally, my reaction is this isn't normal, but if it is common then, I'm happy that I found a server that I can profit from it because it happens quite often.
Did any of you sell a bitcoin on march 9th between [73 000 <=> 77 000] while being able to buy then at this range [69 000 <=> 71 000].
Once this is answered I'll ask my other questions about fees and financial math because it doesn't seem like the basic math I learned from school 10 - 5 != 4
I was banned from the subreddit for this question thx
