Nakamoto
October 31, 2008, at the dawn of the global financial crisis, there was a document that appeared on the mailing list of cryptographic community appeared, it was called “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System” the author of which was a person named Satoshi Nakamoto. In January 2009, on behalf of Nakamoto, there was a genesis block generated in the Bitcoin network, the hash files of which contained an encrypted message stating the title of the article from British newspaper “The Times” - 03 / Jan / 2009" Chancellor on brink of the second bailout for banks". A genius that was yet unknown to the world, had already hinted that the sad events of 2008 will repeat. The solution he proposed was a response to imperfection and depravity of the existing financial and credit system - centralized, corrupt, technologically imperfect and rapidly losing credibility.
People did not immediately understand what they were facing. But Bitcoin's fame had grown with it's price, and it had attracted the attention of the public. At the end of 2017, people went a little crazy. And the reason for it was Bitcoin. Watching at the rapid growth rate of the first cryptocurrency, people sold property, took loans and invested in digital gold, thereby increasing the market capitalization of it. The year of 2018, marked by a deep protracted downtrend, had brought many of these cryptoinvestors frustration and huge financial losses. Now the buzz around Bitcoin and other digital assets has subsided, and the cryptoindustry is beginning to acquire a legal field in a number of jurisdictions. And a lot of the crypto-enthusiasts are concerned with the same question, that did not find the answer to in the past 10 years.

Hello there. Here is today's selection of highlights and interesting items within the Lisk ecosystem and beyond.....
Lisk Centre Utrecht Welcomes Datadash AKA Nicholas Merten.
You may know Nicholas Merten as the face of the Datadash youtube channel, the self titled "one-stop shop for all things related to cryptocurrencies, data analytics & science". However, this evening (Thursday 28th), Nicholas will be in attendance from 7:30pm to 10:00 pm at the Lisk Centre Utrecht to speak about his new initiative.... Project Genesis. This is his open-source project to develop new technologies and concepts for cryptocurrencies. The main objective is to build upon the foundation that exists today to increase global adoption of cryptocurrencies and build a decentralized financial system for the entire world. The public-spirited idea is that any new or existing projects will be welcome to utilize the results of the work produced by Project Genesis.

Community preview release of DashCrypto.org generated lots of chatter on Discord yesterday.
Background:
Around 7pm Pacific Daylight Time on Monday, March 25th, the community preview version of DashCrypto.org went live. This announcement was shared via Twitter.com/DashCrypto, http://reddit.com/r/DashCrypto, http://reddit.com/r/DashPay, http://dashchat.org, http://staydashy.com, and http://forum.dash.org.
Overall, the feedback on these mediums was positive and netted some public feedback. In one of these – the Dash Nation Discord – there was much conversation the following day. As not everyone is active on Discord, I thought I'd share some of the exchange here, so as to keep everyone in the Dash ecosphere in the loop. Because, if someone on Discord had a question or thought about the site, chances are you may have too.
Below are some of the questions posed and the answers they received. Note that not everything is verbatim but may be edited slightly for flow.
Q: What happens when a user clicks on "Invest now" in regards to investing in masternodes?
A: We are not sure yet. Calls to Action (CTAs, what prompts the user to take a specific (desired) action on the site) haven't been fully defined.
Q: Do you have any legal expert advising you?
A: Yes.
Q: Will you be handing assets (domain/code/etc) over to Dash Trust to act in the best interest of the DAO?
A: Yes, it is planned.
Q: Is this a 'for-profit' venture?
A: DashCrypto is not a for-profit initiative.
Q: The current site has a ridiculous amount of plugins, which pose security risks and add additional bloat.
A: Feedback noted.
Q: Would you consider linking to dash.org for downloads?
A: Yes, sure. We have a better solution for this and we will send a new proposal to the network around April 10.
Q: Do we have any videos to look forward to soon?
A: Yes, we absolutely do. There's much more coming in April.
What's next?
The MVP (minimum viable product) version of DashCrypto.org is slated for launch in late April. It will be more robust and seamless than the current iteration.
How you can help.

Bitcoin Risks Mining Death Spiral If BTC Price Plunges Below $3K
https://i.redd.it/uqzdr9tfhpo21.jpg
Falling prices risk downward spiral for BTC transactions.
But the problems might be just the beginning, as further drops threaten to cause a domino effect in the incentives that keep mining networks running.
The danger was first suggested in a tweet by Colin Le Mahieu, Nano’s lead developer.
“It’s not a fatal flaw though it is a bad user experience,” Le Mahieu told in an email. “The issue comes when there are large swings in price.” When prices drop suddenly, he explained, transactions get slower.
The most severe consequences of these downward pressures have yet to be felt, as mining is still profitable in countries with cheaper energy. However, that may change if prices continue to fall—and miners start to worry about their power bills.
The Mining Spiral
Here’s how falling prices could affect the fundamentals of the Bitcoin network.
Although block mining is often regarded as a cryptographic “puzzle,” it might be better regarded as a game of darts, with each miner throwing blindly until someone hits a bullseye and claims the prize. Every two weeks, the Bitcoin network makes the target larger or smaller, to ensure that someone scores about every ten minutes.
These consensus changes work fairly smoothly in the long run, but they run into trouble when there are sudden changes in the number of players—or the value of the prize. A sudden drop in the value of block rewards might cause some Norwegian or Chinese dart-throwers to drop out of the game, leaving only a handful of players aiming at the same tiny target until the next difficulty adjustment.
But a drop in miners can compound problems further, since it now takes fourteen or fifteen minutes to mine a ten-minute block. Since the interval between difficulty adjustments is measured in block times, that two-week period could become three weeks or even longer.
Then prices drop even further, as Bitcoin users and merchants give up on a currency which has inconsistent and unpredictable transaction times—causing further price drops, and more miners to quit, thereby making transaction times take even longer.
Bitcoin Cash Block times after hard fork. These problems aren’t just theoretical. The initial fork of Bitcoin Cash was marred by several hundred-minute blocks as the new network struggled under the previous high difficulty levels.
$3,000: Bitcoin’s Event Horizon
Despite the most recent sell-off, mining is still (barely) profitable in some wholesale energy markets. But even those profits are starting to thin, with reports of some mining installations selling their ASIC equipment “by the kilo.”
Profits for a Bitmain S9 miner at average Chinese retail energy prices. Via CryptoCompare
The sell-offs are likely to continue if Bitcoin prices sink past $3,000 USD – the average price of producing one bitcoin in China, where 74% of all mining occurs.
Hashrates have been slumping since October, and block times consistently exceeded ten minutes.
What Next?
It’s not quite clear how far the downward cascade could bring the price of Bitcoin. In the long run, of course, hashing power and difficulty levels would both sink until they reached an equilibrium, with rewards just high enough to sustain the remaining miners.
But in the short term it would likely deepen and protract the ongoing crypto recession, as the problems in the transaction network highlight the uncertainties of cryptocurrency transactions. For those paid in cryptocurrency–or who rely on it for cross-border remittances– it might become more attractive to go with Western Union after all.
That wouldn’t be the end of crypto, or even of Bitcoin. But it would cause quite a bit of hodler’s remorse, and justify some of the skepticism against cryptocurrency’s ability to survive as an economic system.
It would also throw a wrench into the fundamentals of the network, which has only started to assert its viability as a payment system. Depending on how big the wrench is, the engine might take a long time to fix.

Loop and Channel fee management
Reading through this bitmex research I was wondering what Casa is planning to do in regards to these concepts:
"that to balance inbound/outbound capacity, node operators may need to:
- Adjust both fee rates and the base fee, monitor the impact of the adjustments, and calibrate for the optimal income maximising settings
- Analyse the network and look for poorly connected Lightning nodes with high payment demand, such as a new merchant
- Analyse the fee market, not just for the network as a whole, but the high demand low capacity routes you are targeting
- Constantly monitor and rebalance your channels to ensure there is sufficient two-way liquidity
- Implement a custom backup solution for the latest channel states to protect funds in the event that the node machine crashes
LOOP is also looking very promising
"This ‘loop out’ and back into BTC or fiat could cause an incentive for a channel rebalance from the node with exiting capacity."
Looking forward to see how those features fit in the Casa nodes roadmaps. Thx

Discount with Crypto payments in Peru!
As online entrepreneurs, digital nomads or crypto nomads we're not bound to a location and we like to travel, work and look for airdrops.
In Peru we noticed a poster in a local restaurant in Cusco - Peru called: "El Encuentro"
The poster stated "10% off pagando con Bitcoin" , which means 10% discount if you pay with Bitcoin. The same discount was available for Ethereum, Litecoin and Dash.
As we didn't have any BTC available to sell, we quickly checked our airdrop wallet. Noticed I received some airdrops, including the SNTR from our March giveaway, and Traded some tokens for Ethereum in my airdrop dashboard. We then paid with ETH to get a nice discount! This whole process took a little over 10 minutes, as I wasn't really prepared for it. Still it wasn't that much of a hassle to do it.
If you'd like to get your hands on HYPE tokens, make sure to join our "5 years of airdrops" celebration event.

Community-Led Pan-African Blockchain Standards Org Publishes Draft ICO Guidelines
The African Digital Asset Framework (ADAF) — a project that aims to establish compliance-focused, cross-border blockchain standards for the African continent — published the first version of its guidance for initial coin offerings (ICO) on March 25.
ADAF is supported by the African Digital Asset Foundation (which shares the same acronym) — a non-profit organization and open-source project founded in November 2018, which aims to encourage self-regulation and foster the establishment of legal and technical standards that would support digital trade between the African continent and the diaspora.
According to an official blog post accompanying the new standard, entitled “Consumer Protection Guidelines on Token Generation Events, version 0.1,” the document was prepared by an open source community of 17 companies, which together represent 14 countries under the aegis of the ADAF project. As the blog post outlines, the collective effort aims to:
“Create [...] a set of standards for consumers, policymakers and entrepreneurs to follow when evaluating or participating in token generation events for utility-token based ecosystems.”
The use of the term “token generation events,” rather than the more commonly used “ICO,” is proposed on the grounds that the term more accurately reflects the purported aim of ICO projects, namely to finance and construct “distributed ecosystems that empower communities to build core infrastructure for distributed ledger technologies.”
Noting the largely unregulated status of the current TGE/ICO landscape, the ADAF argues for the urgent need to self-regulate through the creation and enforcement of community standards that would protect consumers and thereby mitigate the prospects of external regulation tightening to an extent that would stifle the nascent industry.
ADAF community members are invited to post feedback and debate topics directly onto a Google Docs version of the TGE guidelines.
The blog post notes that ADAF is currently further drafting guidance for “land titling system with oracles and smart contracts, a security token framework and a self-sovereign identity.”
As previously reported, the World Economic Forum (WEF) appointed the CEO and founder of African payments firm BitPesa, Elizabeth Rossiello, to serve as one of two co-chairs of the Global Blockchain Council this January.

About DigitalBits
DigitalBits could be a project that gives development, infrastructure, events and education resources through a worldwide network and group action protocol. This project is AN ASCII text file blockchain that necessitate the event of safe and cheap international networks, protocols and transactions for anyone to use, as well as however not restricted to businesses with loyalty and reward programs with their users. Loyalty operator programs will support their individual loyalty points as digital assets during this localised network and users will trust these digital assets at the same time.
DigitalBits helps solve issues of movability, security and liquidity with sure digital assets, like Loyalty and Rewards programs, and helps generate additional worth for patrons, businesses and sure charitable organizations.
The localised DigitalBits network additionally doesn't have to be compelled to be centralized which needs additional prices for its use. during this network the transfer is finished in seconds and solely needs a nominal fee.
DigitalBits not solely supports small payments and quick shipping at low costs, however additionally organizations or corporations that use this network can have the chance to feature their assets to the blockchain.
This platform provides Digitalbits, XDB, original digital assets that may be purchased with tokens and greatly reduces user group action prices, that ar contradicted by ancient centralized systems that charge extortionate fees to purchasers. This platform needs the shortest time to finish the group action.
Enabling mass market adoption of blockchain
DigitalBits could be a protocol layer Blockchain designed to assist facilitate mass market liquidity of assorted digital assets and integrate with existing apps to drive mass market adoption of Blockchain technology
It’s Built: Already-developed Blockchain protocol that may support high turnout, transfer and commerce on-chain
It’s Liquid: Multi-hop transfer of assets (up to six hops apart) to assist offer higher liquidity to tokens notwithstanding no direct market exists
It’s Integration Ready: Integrates with existing shopper applications to drive new users into the blockchain system
In the Pockets of Millions: A go-to-market strategy that tokenizes an enterprise program’s existing digital assets.
be performed on a day after day. they need to any take into consideration that there may well be spikes within the quantity of transactions throughout the day, based on consumer behavior patterns. an outsized a part of the transactions ar expected to be performed on-line. Their infrastructure should be upgraded so as to cater these demands. A cloud-based system is appealing, however, additionally to the large value, this needs in-house experience in maintenance, dynamic scaling, and security.
– shopper experience: so as to accommodate this trends to work via mobile Apps, AN App wealthy in options and attractiveness, should be developed. The major concern although, is of shopper engagement. though Apps ar easy to put in, the massive variety of them on a consumer’s phone tends to suffer an equivalent problems as that of multiple loyalty cards with a shopper – a lack of enticement for the client. The App may well be yet one more App on the consumers’ phone and so not used often.
– prices & Time: notwithstanding prioritizing and selecting AN in-house or a cloudbased version, the prices of making then maintaining such a program would be immense. Moreover, the launch of AN overhauled LRP program additionally requires plenty of development time.
Enterprise-grade blockchain for mass market
DigitalBits could be a next-generation project that’s coping with the challenges of usability and thought adoption. By transportation along technology, team and enterprise-grade execution, we’re transportation cryptocurrencies to the plenty.
Core options of DigitalBits
DigitalBits boast of AN Agent-Oriented Modeling (AOM) methodology consisting of humans, hardware agents, and package agents and is meant to facilitate each technical and non-technical stakeholders interaction at intervals the system. Asides from facilitating simple plus tokenization employing a group action and commerce layer for digital assets, this system is meant to confirm quantifiability and decentralization of the system, support simple integration with plugins and applications designed by third-party developers and supply a reliable and compliant atmosphere for transactions wherever this tokens ar tradable and might be used for payment and remission.
The DigitalBits network is comprises entities like DigitalBits cores, frontier, notecase and applications and a technological stack consisting of bridge server, federation server, and compliance server. The DigitalBits core is that the backbone of the DigitalBits platform and therefore the key roles of the platform ar contend by the nodes of the DigitalBits blockchain. The DigitalBits Blockchain could be a fork of the stellar blockchain designed to possess higher group action per seconds, proposes a less expensive group action value and a custom blockchain for tokenization of assets.
The DigitalBits platform possesses a novel tokenization model wherever users of a token establish trust parameters within the on-boarding method, then the platform institutes a Token Name Certification Service (TNCS) that's unavailable in different blockchain comes that support tokens like ethereum, stellar lumen, and waves. On this preceding platforms, any tom dick and harry will issue tokens with similar names to established comes so as to tear off unsuspecting users however the DigitalBits platform mitigates these issues of validation and authentication of digital assets via TNCS. A localised Multi-Hop exchange is additionally place in situ to confirm liquidity of digital assets from LRPs programs wherever this token will simply be listed. Another intriguing side of the project is that the ability to facilitate cross-asset payment during which holders of a digital asset(LRP) will access services getable via another LRP program.
XBD is that the native currency of the DigitalBits platform and serves the subsequent purposes: It plays protecting and safety functions by serving as a demand to use DigitalBits services, it’s used for payments of group action fees on the platform and in conclusion plays a big role as a medium for payment and remission. XBD incorporates a most offer of a hundred billion units ANd is presently accessible available in an Initial Coin Offering(ICO) that started on the first of March 2019 and is scheduled to finish on the thirty first of March 2019.
The DigitalBits Programming interface:
Most applications connect with the DigitalBits system through Frontier “a reposeful HTTP API server”, giving purchasers a transparent technique to submit exchanges, check records, and furnish to occasions. Since it’s merely HTTP, you'll speak with Frontier utilizing your web browser, easy order line instruments like cURL, or the DigitalBits SDK for your most prefered artificial language
.
The most quickest approach to introduce Frontier is by utilizing DigitalBitsOrg/quickstart dock worker image. Digitalbits.io takes care of JavaScript, Java, and Go-based SDKs for speaking with Frontier. There ar likewise network maintained SDKs for Ruby, Python, and C#.
The DigitalBits System’s Backbone (Core):
Each Frontier server associates with DigitalBits Core, the muse of the DigitalBits system. The DigitalBits Core programming will the diligent work of approving and accordant with completely different cases of Core on the standing of every exchange through the DigitalBits agreement Protocol (SCP). The DigitalBits system itself is AN accumulation of associated DigitalBits Cores unbroken running by completely different folks and organizations round the globe. The disseminated plan of the system makes it solid and safe.
All these DigitalBits Cores in system concede within the long-standing time to sets of exchanges. each exchange on the system prices a touch charge: a hundred nibbs (0.00001 XDB). This charge keeps awful users from spamming the system.

Blockchain: wise use in the accounting
The blockchain is a universal technology or a tool that can become a wonderful basis for developing further highly efficient technologies. Now, the most well-known ultimate outcome of using blockchain technology is a cryptocurrency of course and its most famous representative Bitcoin. The cryptocurrency blockchain system proved it has such a great reputation not for nothing. There has not been a case on hacking it. But virtual money is just one of many ways of the potential use of the technology.
Thanks to such infallibility blockchain certainly have a great future in many human fields that have the same great concern about security issues, they are money turnover, storage of information, transparent elections and so on. Some people say blockchain is another stage of the technological development that will certainly steal jobs from a great number of people. We believe the blockchain tech can greatly assist people in the process of implementing their job commitments. The accounting profession is far from being an exception.
The blockchain is made as a ledger and it makes a great advantage for accountants.
What does the Blockchain Tech have to suggest to accountants?
First, we are listing the blockchain technology features that will certainly play right for accounting:
- Either party may have confidence in the information placed in the blockchain even if he or she doesn’t trust its counterpart;
- The transaction can be completed only if it is approved by both parties;
- Thereafter, the information cannot be changed.
International accounting corporations have been thoroughly studying the opportunities of the blockchain application while accounting and auditing. We can easily understand them. Who will need a mediator who expresses his or her opinion on the reliability of the audit if the audit is a priori reliable? Nevertheless, most experts agree that the accent in the auditors’ work will shift from confirmation of the events to the confirmation of their classification in accounting. Accountancy will form the accounting policies and will follow the classification and the interpretation of the events.
Great Expectations
- The blockchain tech will simplify international deals in frames of small businesses, as it is going to be much easier to conduct financial transactions of foreign clients;
- The blockchain tech will simplify the procurement processes, as it lets securely register the transactions, provides unprecedented transparency and increases operational efficiency;
- Companies don’t need to check all the accounting documents that is quite an expensive audit service. It is a wonderful way to save outside investors’ time and money;
- Accounting records are secured with the help of cryptographic keys; that makes falsification and destruction of records almost impossible. As a result, there is no opportunity to conduct fraudulent transactions;
- Automation of most of the processes that now are being conducted by accountants, for example, tax calculations.
Companies will implement the blockchain system to increase transparency of their activity and to facilitate the access for auditors. Such changes are advantageous for most stakeholders but they can be negatively perceived by those working in the shadow economy or conceal their proceeds. Still, pioneers who will be the first to adopt the innovative direction will gain additional advantages and will be able to take leading positions in the future.
Bright Present
Some specialized companies have already started working with the cryptocurrency assets. Many countries have started developing a legislative framework to regulate taxation applied in regard to the revenue received as a result of conducting transactions with virtual money.
Large audit firms take part in developing new regulations, pursuing vigorous campaigns for shaping the rules not only with regard to the cryptocurrency but to the overall technology. It is a really smart move as it maximizes their chances of success.
The main advantage of the distributed ledger is the improved transparency of information and fight against fraud that is really good news for all the parties. Instead of examining paper documentation and determining if a tax declaration contains the true figures, auditors can check the data using the blockchain records.
Today, The Bank of New-York Mellon tracks banking transactions with the help of the blockchain technology recording any movement of financial resources. The state of Delaware together with Symbiont applies the blockchain tech to register securities and to communicate with the shareholders.

Millennials may want to read this
Just want to share something that has really worked well for me and could help alot of other people also.
I'm a young millennial. A few years back during college I made my way into investing. I realized that one of the main and only way of becoming "rich"/ creating wealth was investing whether that be in shares, business, etc. I always wanted to invest in real estate especially after hearing the statistic that 90% of millionaires are created in the real estate market. I don’t know how true that is but I liked the sound of it. However, real estate was not even an option to me at the time. So what I did was get into the antiques business, which I soon found to be very very profitable. Even the Great Scrooge McDuck was known to dabble in antiquities, so if it's good enough for him, I figured it was good enough for me!
It allowed me to pay off debt, travel and eventually obtain enough funds to invest in property, my long term goal, which is what I currently do now. Investing in antiques was my stepping stone to that goal. While the vast majority of millennials cannot invest in real estate, the antiquities market is very much accessible, and as in my case, can lead to other things. Alternative investments such as antiques, art and stamps regularly outperform shares. However, the industry is overlooked by younger people, and this I think is to our detriment. It really is an untapped gold mine.
In reality, flipping artefacts is not that much different from flipping homes. Same rules still apply, buy low, sell high and if required add a bit of value in between.
Although I'm primarily in the business of real estate now, the ROI is nothing compared to that which is possible with valuable items of the past. Occasionally I do miss the "hustle" and adrenaline of flipping something for $400 which you acquired for $30. Those are the sort of returns Wall Street can only dream of.
One of the main advantages of investing in property and antiques is that you have a physical and tangible item in your possession, unlike shares or cryptos. (Not that they're inferior or anything). You can live in a house and wear a valuable watch, but you can't eat a bitcoin is what I am trying to illustrate. Real assets like property, antiques, art, metals, oil and commodities are much more useful.
It is well known that precious metals are good investments as they hold their value well, and are one of the few relatively stable assets during bad economic times (such as recessions and depressions). This advantage can be compounded by the smart investor by acquiring items that are both antiques and precious metals at the same time. For example, a set of silver cutlery. This is valuable as an antique and also as a commodity. It’s also a very practical, useful asset in the sense that it can actually be used.
The ability to specialise in niche areas also make this form of investing much more interesting. Those with an interest in music, flip instruments. You can even buy, hold and flip fine wines from years gone by. There's something for everyone.
Like other markets, there can be risks, albeit relatively few, especially when compared to cryptocurrencies or shares. The main peril would be fakes. However, very quickly you can learn to recognise these instantly.
Just like in other markets such as shares, bitcoin, and oil there are trends. Something that not many people know (or neglect to consider) about in the industry is the influence of television and cinema. This can be highly useful in predicting and riding trends. To give a current example, there is a new Downton Abbey movie which is in the works. When it is released, the prices of antiquities from the Edwardian era will very likely rise. Buying before and selling after would net a very tidy profit. Knowing how to spot these opportunities is one of the keys to success in the industry, as with all others. In the past, this occurred in 2015 when the Great Gatsby was released, starring Leonardo Dicaprio. Shortly after, the demand for items from the "Roaring Twenties" (1920's) significantly increased, which led to higher prices and of course, a very profitable situation for savvy investors.
Another notion which could be looked into, is that fact that given enough time anything can become an antique. That means putting something away now which is next to worthless, can, with enough time end up priceless. A very extreme example, but the idea is sturdy. A scene from Indiana Jones goes something like this:
"Look at this. [holds out a pocket watch.] It's worthless. Ten dollars from a vendor in the street. But I take it, I bury it in the sand for a thousand years, it becomes priceless...like the Ark. Men will kill for it. Men like you and me."
To give another current example, it would make good sense to store away items from important events, such as the Brexit movement in Britain. If in Australia, the recent same sex marriage campaign. If in the United States, Trump memorabilia would look to be a good option. Trump will have a long lasting legacy that (good or bad) will not be soon forgotten. Recognising these opportunities is very important.
A very interesting emerging market that might be worth a look at the moment, is antique tractors. These are rapidly increasing in value, with some recently selling in the hundreds of thousands at auction. If it’s within the budget, this niche is definitely one to watch. Having said that, it’s never good to enter into an industry without good knowledge of the subject first.
Finally, it has never been easier to get started. There are countless apps that are available that make the appraisal of items very easy and quick. Popular television programs like American Pickers, Pawn Stars and Antiques Roadshow are also great resources.
My hope is that this message will lead to an awakening about this form of alternative investing, so that it may inspire others (particularly my age) to get started, and potentially start getting ahead in life. I think we've had enough of being told to just save and hope for the best. When you have an entire generation that feels as if the only home they’ll ever afford is one on a monopoly board, it can be very discouraging. The buying and selling of items of value shouldn't be reserved for the elite or upper class, rather it should be seen as an opportunity to get a foothold in the buying and selling economy as a whole. The truth is, you can become a tycoon of antiquities with relatively little capital or upfront costs. A local market, thrift store or estate sale and a bit of spare change is literally all that is needed. Facebook buy-sell groups, Etsy, Craigslist and Ebay make it easier again. Adding valuable and precious artefacts to one's portfolio is in my opinion, not a bad move. Like gold and silver, they tend to hold their value decently. I genuinely believe that 2019 could be the beginning of a new gold rush... rusty gold that is.
