What "event" will be the nail in the coffin for your Bitcoin goals?

lot of people have their breaking point, where they will throw in the towel. What "event" or "change in technology" will be
your final nail in the coffin for your Bitcoin dreams? A lot of people are looking at the Bitcoin price as a trigger, but that would
be stupid. (The price are mostly manipulated, so this is a bad guideline)
The trigger must be something other than the price. (Example : Major change in the Bitcoin code / Core developer leaving /Flaw in the protocol / The introduction of a much better technology etc.)

[Daily BAT Discussion] Average Avenue - September 28, 2018

September 28, 2018

Hey BAT Joes! Welcome to the Daily BAT Discussion!

Yesterday's Market Movements: Sideways

We had another day of sideways movement. We went up to 2600 sats at one time, but fell back down to 2500 satoshis ($0.17). Volume is sitting at around 150 BTC on Binance, so nothing extraordinary happening. Bitcoin yesterday went up to a high of $6800 and dropped back down to $6600 right now. If anything, it looks like the market might be trying to test upward movement.

Have a great FRIDAY guys! Remember to tell a friend about Brave!

Economic Model of VENA Token

The value storage function and the circulation function of protocol token is a pair of contradiction in the token economic model. If the design of token economic model is partial to the value storage function, due to the anticipation that the price will increase, the token holders will tend to hold but not use such tokens, which further weaken their liquidity. Such self-reinforcing positive feedback will result in high entry threshold for new users, and hinder the expanding of protocol use range. Such situation has been verified in the bitcoin system. It can be predicted that when such self-reinforcement reaches a limit, people will no longer use such tokens in the market, and no new users enter the market; so, the whole token economic model will be close to the edge of breakdown. The token transaction is completely driven by speculation demand, and the token price may suddenly collapse at its peak point. If the design of token economic model is partial to the circulation function, the users will lose the motivation to hold tokens, but select to complete the transaction as soon as possible, especially when the predicted price increase of protocol token is lower than other tokens with value storage function. Under such circumstance, the average time users hold the protocol tokens depends on their prediction about the token price, the use value and use frequency of such token, and the transaction cost between such token and other currency. The decrease of any factor may cause that the users tend to trade, but not hold the tokens, which will further result in the falling anticipation of token price. Such reverse positive feedback will cause the collapse of protocol token price, and even the death of whole protocol ecosystem.

Based on above analysis, we can draw the conclusion that the balance is maintained only when a protocol token has both value storage function and circulation function at the same time, and the price can be stably maintained. Vitalik Buterin discussed this problem in a blog in 2017, and put forward a formula to assess the token price:

MC = TH

  • M represents total supply quantity of tokens.
  • C represents token price.
  • T represents token transaction volume.
  • H represents average time of users holding tokens.

Our design objective of VENA Token economic model is to maintain token price C at a relatively stable long-term increase rate, and to maximize the total market value of tokens MC/TH at the same time. For this reason, we need to pay attention to two aspects. First, enlarge the token transaction volume T as far as possible, and increase the average time of users holding tokens H; second, ensure that the increase rate of total supply quantity of tokens is lower than the increase rate of TH. In the phase when the user volume increases rapidly, the token transaction volume T shall grow at the same time, and the growth of TH is mainly driven by newly increased users T; when the increase of user volume slows down, and even stops, T and H show a negative correlation, and TH has a maximum value. Therefore, in the early stage of Vena Network development, the most effective method to maximize the total market value of VENA Token is to attract more new users to join in Vena Network, and encourage users to hold more VENA Tokens. Only when Vena Network is developed to cover most cryptocurrency users, and the increase of total number of users in the whole cryptocurrency ecosystem slows down, we need to consider to make TH close up to maximum value by promoting the inner liquidity of the system.

After full consideration about the factors mentioned and the usage scenarios of Vena Network, we design a very ingenious and unique token economic model for Vena Protocol. In the design of Vena Protocol, there is a special type of token transaction – token deposit. When the VENA Tokens are deposited, we still can treat them to be held by users, because the liquidity in the market is not increased. By encouraging users to use VENA Tokens as deposit, we promote their demands for VENA Tokens and prolong the time when they hold such tokens. It is named as a “using and holding” token economic model. Obviously, such model shall greatly stimulate the increase of VENA Token price, so we need to design an additional token issue mechanism to control the increase of VENA Token price within a reasonable range. Fortunately, there are abundant scenarios in the Vena Protocol ecosystem enabling us to motivate users to jointly construct and maintain Vena Network by issuing additional VENA Tokens. Some specific examples and additional issue scenarios are given in the subsection 4.2 and 4.3.

In addition, we also design an additional community incentive mechanism based on the VENA Token model. By establishing Vena investment funds, we will invest in the enterprises and DAO in the Vena Protocol ecosystem, and use a part of incomes from investment to pay back to the community through events, including but not limited to hackathons.

The SEC is suing Elon Musk, accusing the Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) CEO of securities fraud and seeking to ban him from serving as an officer of a publicly traded company. The SEC complaint alleges that Musk issued a series of "false and misleading" statements and failed to properly notify regulators of material company events last month when he tweeted about possibly taking Tesla private, saying “funding secured.” In response, Musk said, “Integrity is the most important value in my life and the facts will show I never compromised this in any way.” Tesla’s board says it is “fully confident” in its CEO, and Musk signals that he may not go away quietly. The Wall Street Journal reported that the SEC had crafted a settlement with Musk that it was preparing to file yesterday morning but Musk’s lawyers called off the agreement. Shares tumbled as much as 13% in after-hours trading.

Japan’s Nikkei index jumped to a 27-year intraday high overnight, aided by improving corporate profits, a healthier economy and a weaker yen, before closing +1.4% at 24,120. Today's rally puts the Nikkei on track to finish as Q3’s best-performing index, as its 6.7% gain in local currency terms is well ahead of the 2.5% increase for India’s Sensex, although neither benchmark has performed as well in dollar terms. Valuations remain attractive, with the Nikkei priced at just 13x forward earnings, said Tony Glover, Tokyo-based senior investment specialist at BNP Paribas Asset Management. Elsewhere in Asia, China’s Shanghai Composite closed +1%, while Hong Kong’s Hang Seng ended +0.2%.

European markets are weighed by political turmoil in Italy, where the new anti-establishment government proposed a 2019 budget with a much wider deficit than the previous administration’s target, setting up a clash with the European Commission. The government late Thursday night offered a budget with a deficit of 2.4% of GDP for the next three years, in a defeat for its economy minister, who had sought a deficit set as low as 1.6% next year, hoping to respect European Union demands that Italy progressively cut the fiscal gap to trim its debt. The full budget will be unveiled in October and will be scrutinized by the European Commission, which could reject it.

U.S. lawmakers are expressing deep reservations about any new North American trade deal that does not include Canada as the Trump administration prepares to advance a NAFTA deal with Mexico but not Canada. U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer met with key lawmakers yesterday to deliver what senators said was a pessimistic assessment of the state of negotiations with Canada. Congressional staff members cautioned that the administration would find little support on Capitol Hill for a deal that excluded Canada entirely and would be unlikely to move to a vote in the House if Democrats win control in November’s elections.

Mortgage rates in the U.S. jumped to the highest level in more than seven years during the past week, according to Freddie Mac's (OTCQB:FMCC) latest market survey. The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage rose for the fifth straight week, adding seven basis points to an average of 4.72% for the week ending September 27, up from 4.65% in the prior week, and the 15-year FRM averaged 4.16%, up from 4.11%. Homebuilder stocks posted broad losses, in part on the higher mortgage rates and the likelihood of continued increases with another Fed rate hike apparently set to come before the end of this year. ETFs: ITB, XHB, PKB, HOML.

Central banks have emerged as some of the biggest buyers of gold this year, buying a total of 264 metric tons this year to reach the highest level in six years, according to analysts at Macquarie. “The only unambiguously positive sector for gold at the moment is central banks,” Macquarie says, as the price of gold has tumbled 10% so far this year and slid near a six-week low at $1,187.40 per ounce. Poland added to its gold reserves last month, buying more than seven tons of gold, which followed its purchase of two tons in July, according to IMF data; gold buying has long been dominated by Russia, Turkey and Kazakhstan, and Poland's purchase, if confirmed, would be the first by a European Union member this century, according to Macquarie.

The Air Force currently plans to buy 351 T-X jets and 46 simulators, and options on the contract could allow the purchase of as many as 475 jets and 120 simulators. Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin space transport company has won a contract to supply engines for the massive Vulcan rocket built by United Launch Alliance, the joint venture between Boeing (BA) and Lockheed Martin (LMT). The potentially multi-billion dollar agreement is a significant milestone for Blue Origin as it strives to become a player in the market for lucrative U.S. military satellite launch contracts. Blue Origin's engines have strategic importance for the U.S. military because they are intended to end the use of Russian-built engines which now provide primary propulsion on United Launch’s Atlas V rockets.

Top 5 Coins Under 100 Satoshis To Buy on Binance

https://i.redd.it/f2d4i8blqyo11.png

2017 was the year when some cheap coins made 10x,20x and even more. But not everyone got a chance to catch on the rocket ride. Some of the low value crypto coins were technologically advanced and thus the rise in price of because of their improvements. While some are termed as “ShitCoins” or “PumpAndDump” Coins. It’s true that some of those coins are really shitty coins and are favourite for pumpers as these are easy to pump. These coins are low in Satoshi value, low in trading volume and hence can get pumped easily. It is strongly advised to stay away from Shitcoins as these can eat up your investments. Invest in those coins which have a good team behind it and are technologically sound, and which will create the demand for those coins in future. In this article, i have listed top 5 coins under 100 satoshis to buy on Binance

PundiX (NPXS)

As per the website,

“Most of the Blockchain today is far from ideal, with an over-emphasis on technology and the under-emphasis on creating real use cases. Pundi X’s philosophy is not only to build a technologically superior chain, but also one that has real-life application. A good Blockchain should have a user experience and performance that are way more superior than the current product in market.
And that’s what we have achieved with our Blockchain called f(x). Currently, f(x) is already up and running on internal test environment. And we will continue to provide regular updates on the progress of f(x). We will walk the talk with f(x). It will be a game changer with real use cases to support it.”

PundiX is providing physical crypto-fiat machines which can be installed by merchants and accept payments in crypto from their customers. The cusotmers will pay in crypto via the PundiX machines and it will convert the crypto to fiat before remitting it to the merchant account.

PundiX had an all -time high of around 200 Satoshis in June 2018. But that was when crypto bull market was over and flat. PundiX has huge potential and can easily give your 15-20X returns in next bull run.

HOLOCHAIN (HOT)

When i got to know about HOT back in last week of August 2018, it was trading around 10 Satoshis. Just after few days, it went high upto 22 Satoshis in first week of September. 2x returns in just 10 days. But i still believe that HOT has a lot more room to grow.

Holo aims to change the internet and make it more human. It wishes to do so by working on the privacy of the internet and give back control to the users.

Siacoin (SC)

Siacoin, one of the most popular cheap coin is in a good buy zone these days. At the time of publishing this article, Siacoin was priced 92 Satoshis. Siacoin can go up till 600 satoshis and give you 6x returns from here in the crypto bull run. Do not buy full lot at current price. Buy in pieces and always accumulate when it dips.

SelfKey (KEY)

SelfKey is a blockchain technology based self-sovereign identity system that allows individuals and companies to truly own, control and manage their digital identity, securely manage their cryptocurrency portfolio and instantly onboard onto financial, immigration and cryptocurrency services.

At the time of publishing this article, KEY was trading at 88 Satoshis but back in early July this year, it was trading around 450 Satoshis. Part investments can be made at the current price levels.

Mainframe (MFT)

Although MFT was trading around 105 Satoshis at the time of publishing this article, it was around 80 Satoshis when I discovered it 15 days back.

As per the website:-

“Mainframe is the platform for decentralized applications. Resistant to censorship, surveillance, and disruption, the Mainframe network enables any application to send data, store files, manage payments, run tasks, and more. With the exception of a catastrophic asteroid event or an aggressive alien invasion, the Mainframe network is simply unstoppable. We build with five fundamental principles as our guide.”

The MFT project has a good working team and some solid advisors which had work-ex of Facebook, Microsoft and Google.

During the first week of July, MFT coin was trading around 330 satoshi. Still 3x potential from current price.

NOTE:-The above tips are not any professional financial advise. Please do your own research before investing.

How long does it take for my balance to unlock?

Your balance is unlocked after 10 confirmations (which means 10 mined blocks). A block is mined approximately every two minutes on the Monero network, so that would be around 20 minutes.

How can I prove that I sent a payment?

The fastest and most direct way is by using the ExploreMonero blockchain explorer. You will need to recover the transaction key from your wallet (complete guide for GUI / CLI).

How do I buy Monero (XMR) with Bitcoin (BTC)?

There are dozens of exchanges that trade Monero against Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Check out the list on CoinMarketCap and choose the option that suits you best.

How do I buy Monero (XMR) with fiat?

  • Kraken (USD and EUR): old-school, decent exchange. They might require your documents for verification and approval of your account.
  • LocalMonero: peer-to-peer exchange. They have pretty much everything as a payment method and they support hundreds of fiat options.

How do I mine Monero? And other mining questions.

The correct place to ask questions and discuss the Monero mining scene is in the dedicated subreddit r/MoneroMining. That being said, you can find a list of pools and available mining software in the GetMonero.org website.

2. Wallet: CLI & GUI

Why I can't see my balance? Where is my XMR?

Before any action there are two things to check:

  1. Are you using the latest available version of the wallet? A new version is released roughly every 6 months, so make sure you're using the current release (compare the release on GetMonero.org with your wallet's version on Settings, under Debug info).
  2. Is your wallet fully synchronized? If it isn't, wait the sync to complete.

Because Monero is different from Bitcoin, wallet synchronization is not instant. The software needs to synchronize the blockchain and use your private keys to identify your transactions. Check in the lower left corner (GUI) if the wallet is synchronized.

You can't send transactions and your balance might be wrong or unavailable if the wallet is not synced with the network. So please wait.

If this is not a sufficient answer for your case and you're looking for more information, please see this answer on StackExchange.

How do I upgrade my wallet to the newest version?

This answer is beautifully answered on StackExchange.

Why does it take so long to sync the wallet [for the first time]?

You have decided to use Monero's wallet and run a local node. Congratulations! You have chosen the safest and most secure option for your privacy, but unfortunately this has an initial cost. The first reason for the slowness is that you will need to download the entire blockchain, which is considerably heavy (+60 GB) and constantly growing. There are technologies being implemented in Monero to slow this growth, however it is inevitable to make this initial download to run a full node. Consider syncing to a device that has an SSD instead of an HDD, as this greatly impacts the speed of synchronization.

Now that the blockchain is on your computer, the next time you run the wallet you only need to download new blocks, which should take seconds or minutes (depending on how often you use the wallet).

I don't want to download the blockchain, how can I skip that?

The way to skip downloading the blockchain is connecting your wallet to a public remote node. You can follow this guide on how to set it up. You can find a list of public remote nodes on MoneroWorld.

Be advised that when using a public remote node you lose some of your privacy. A public remote node is able to identify your IP and opens up a range for certain attacks that further diminish your privacy. A remote node can't see your balance and it can't spend your XMR.

How do I restore my wallet from the mnemonic seed or from the keys?

To restore your wallet with the 25 word mnemonic seed, please see this guide.

To restore your wallet with your keys, please see this guide.

3. Wallet: Ledger

How do I generate a Ledger Monero Wallet with the GUI or CLI?

This answer is beautifully answered on StackExchange. Check this page for the GUI instructions, and this page for the CLI instructions.

4. Nodes

How can I my local node become a public remote node?

If you want to support other Monero users by making your node public, you can follow the instructions on MoneroWorld, under the section "How To Include Your Node On Moneroworld".

How can I connect my node via Tor?

This answer is beautifully answered on StackExchange.

BANK TRANSFERS FOR BEGINNERS BY PHONE OR ONLINE

Bank Transfers for Beginners (By Phone or Online)
The first thing you are going to need is banking credentials of some sort. Each bank is different and each bank has different transfer restrictions so it is best to open up a test account to see how they operate before trying the real thing. For this guide I will focus on Wells Fargo accounts because that is what is most abundant on deep web markets. Plus many other banks use Wells Fargo software, and Wells Fargo is probably the most strict so all other banks should be easier. Before making the transfer we need to create an account to send the money to.

Bank Drop Options
You will need an account to send the money to (bank drop) and for obvious reasons this must not be an account in your real name! The easiest way is to open an anonymous bank account is to buy a prepaid debit card that allows you to receive IBAN transfers like NetSpend and hook up fullz. If possible, it is best to use the fullz of the owner of your target bank accounts you are targeting so you can send money to “yourself” online easier. Be careful to not wire more than your account can receive. If the bank drop is in the US, the money will arrive the same day (if made before 3pm). If the bank drop is outside the US, it could take 2-5 days for the wire to arrive. Another bank drop option is to send the money to a Bitcoin exchange which will fund your Bitcoin wallet when the transfer arrives. There are tons of exchanges that provide this option. Just Google “buy bitcoin with wire transfer.” Make sure you register to the exchange with the same name and information as the account holder you are sending the transfer from.

Making Transfers by Phone
For transfers it's much better to call the bank and talk to a banker over the telephone. This approach is far more successful than online transfers because it doesn't attract so much suspicion when a few thousand is being sent somewhere and banks will process the transfer right then and there meaning that if your phone call to them is successful there is a 95% chance your transfer will be too. When calling the bank, it is best to call the local branch and NOT the 1-800 number. If you’re lucky, you will get some inexperienced newbie banker that is less likely to scrutinize your request or you will get one that doesn’t care and will just process the transfer. Make sure to call a local branch close by the address of the account holder. Maybe not the first closest incase the branch knows the customer, but try the second closest. Now here is something to know about the wire transfer process from the banking side...

When Wells Fargo sends wire transfers, two people are required to review the information and sign off on the process. Even when you only talk to one banker, they will have to get another banker to review everything is complete and sign off. This is called dual-control. If the wire transfer amount is over $3,000 a manager will need to sign off. Obviously the larger the transfer request, the more the banker will examine the request. Remember though, most people sending wire transfers send $10,000 or more so you should be good sending anything less than $10,000. Again, if possible open a real account in your name and go through the process with you real identity. That way when you try with someone else’s account, you know what to expect. It will give you more confidence and will payoff huge! Here is a rough list of what you will need when calling into the bank Account number, Address Details, SSN, Date of Birth, Phone Number, Mother maiden name (sometimes), Answer to secret questions (sometimes). It is also helpful to have most recent transaction history (ie. Last deposit), when account was opened, Driver’s License info, etc. Just know the banker is required to obtain two pieces of verification. If they ask you to verify something you don’t know just act stupid and say “I forget or can’t remember, can you ask me something else to verify?”
Here are some tips for making wire transfer by phone... Your confidence and tone of voice will make or break your attempt. Acting or at the very least voice impersonation will play a major role in transfers made by phone because NO bank is going to accept a transfer from someone on the phone who has a squeaky voice of a teenager or young adult when the original account holder is supposed to be 60 years old. Take some time to perfect your voice to sound like the account holder might. Sometimes the dialect of a voice can also make a banker weary of a transfer because if the account holder lives in Australia and you were born in India he or she might be able to spot this in your fake voice so you must get the dialect, tone and language of your targets country correct or you will fail, simple! A good command of the English language is essential. Also, if you from overseas use that to you advantage and say that you are trying to send money to your homeland from your US bank account. It is a good idea to use call spoofing software or an app. I recommend spoofcard.com and use your targets telephone number registered with the bank to help your creditability. Spoofcard allows you to change your voice which may help you sound like a male or female or at the very least disguise your real voice. It's not necessary to use number spoofing but just make sure you are doing so from an unregistered pre-paid cell phone or pay phone and not the personal land line number in your house.

Making Transfers Online Like
before, it's pretty easy to do but there are a lot of different aspects that can affect the success you have with this method of transfer. Again, all banks have different procedures and levels of tolerance regarding online transfers so most of your work at the start will involve research, trial and error and perseverance to figure out the best ways in doing it and how to maximize your profits from it. Again, this guide will focus on Wells Fargo for reasons explained above.
Okay so you have your information and a drop account, now you need to make the actual transfer! When you are doing anything illegal electronically via a computer you MUST secure your identity or so called virtual fingerprint paper trail your system and modem leaves behind. You can do this by using CLEAN SOCKS proxies,
virtual private networks, hacked wireless connection or any other form of legitimate anonymizing techniques and principals to protect your IP address and ultimately your identity and location. If you haven’t heard of Whonix I suggest you educate yourself on how to setup Whonix to use TOR and CLEAN IP addresses. Guide how to setup whonix.org with proxy. A good rule of thumb is to display an IP address located within a local proximity to that of your marks location or geographic area so an IP from the same city or state is ideal. After this step you can successfully and safely login to online banking. Just make sure to manually enter username and password and never copy/paste. This is a Wells Fargo security measure to recognize when info is copy/pasted.
As mentioned before, the bank generally sets an amount of money which is deemed acceptable and safe to transfer online, the history of the account holders' transfers will also come into play so it's your job to determine the highest amount a bank will accept in an online transaction without arousing suspicion.
Take a look at the transaction history of an account and research the banks transfer limits. It is no good trying to transfer $8k from an account with a $10k balance when the real account holder has never made a transfer bigger than $3k before. So after you have a figure you think or know is safe to transfer you can attempt to make the transfer, please take a look below for more information regarding transfers in general. For Wells Fargo, they will only allow you to transfer money to another bank when the receiving account is the same name as the Wells Fargo account. If you have the Fullz for the Wells Fargo account owner, plus Driver License number, then open up a bank account using the account owner’s info. For more on this see the “Background Check and Credit Report” guide. The only way to transfer money online to another person is through BillPay which actually sends a physical check to the recipient. This is not ideal unless you have a drop mailbox. Wells Fargo DOES allow you to transfer money to another Wells Fargo customer so if possible create an anony bank account with Wells Fargo. This type of transfer sometimes takes 1 business day. I also believe Wells Fargo customers can send transfers to Bank of America customers too however this is untested.Tips for making any
type of transfer... The best time to make a transfer is during big seasonal/regional/public holidays like Christmas or Summer, people spend a lot of money at these times so the chances of a successful transfer increases and suspicion falls. Please remember it's not the same for small holidays or seasonal events like at the beginning of a new year because people tend to hold back on spending at those times because they spent so much at Christmas etc... Transferring money into a bank drop account from the same bank will usually happen instantly so you can cashout the money on the same day the transfer was made, sometimes this can be seen as suspicious though. If you are transferring money into a different bank it will take between 1-4 days for the money to appear in the drop.
Don't transfer money at the weekend because people usually use they're cards a lot more on weekends when they are off work and out shopping so they will find out money has been taken from their accounts faster, best day(s) to make a transfer is Sunday,Monday or Tuesday. If available, select the option to take the money from the account on the day it will actually be transferred (1-4 days) there is usually a box to tick online for you to do this or you can tell the bank worker via the telephone that this is what you want. If you have a big balance account like $250k it doesn't mean you can automatically transfer $75k out of that account because it's a small amount in comparison to the balance, a good rule is to take between 3-7% of the big balances but also remember the history of the payments is also very important, try to transfer what the banks sees normally from the account holder. Make small transfers to your drop account that the account holder might not see or report, if you make a big transfer 2-3 weeks later there is a good chance of success because the bank will see money has previously been sent to the same account and no problems were reported. Take a look at the last log in date for the account or ask your vendor to do this if they checked the account after getting it because if the person doesn't log into or use online banking
often there is a chance the success of a big transfer will fall and you will then be able to adjust your transfer accordingly, you will also know that person probably isn't going to see a bank statement until the end of the month. Remember - This is an ART and not a SCIENCE. Every situation needs a different approach and there is no one click solution. Some trial and error is required and make sure to protect yourself by staying anonymous!

The past, present and future of Bitcoin!

Description

In this afterwork seminar on Bitcoin we will give an overview of the past, present, and future of Bitcoin. We will look at technology behind Bitcoin; its history and inner workings, its potential to disrupt industries and its future perspectives, including a discussion of the speaker's direct experience with innovative startups and financial incumbents on the field. We will wrap up the seminar with some afterwork mingling.

The structure of the talk:

  • Introduction and background of speaker
  • The history of Bitcoin and what happened before (attempts at - and importance of - sound money and private money)
  • The technology behind Bitcoin - how does it work?
  • Why, and how, is Bitcoin disruptive?
  • Discussion of our direct experience with innovative startups and financial incumbents
  • Future perspectives - imminent future, and in the long run?
  • Final thoughts (and why I want bitcoin in the future of my child)
  • Afterwork

About the speaker:

Italian Mir Liponi (https://twitter.com/mir_btc) has been a tech enthusiast since she was a child. She discovered Bitcoin around 2012 and soon understood its disruptive potential, becoming a Bitcoin supporter while she was finishing her Phd. Since 2016 she has worked with BHB Network (https://twitter.com/bhbnetwork), a research and development center for blockchain technology based in Italy. At BHB she helps connect international Bitcoin experts and promising startups. For the last 3 years she has organized the monthly Bitcoin Milan Meetup, one of the largest such events in Europe. Since 2018 she is also the CEO of Satoshi Design, a startup focused on communication, design, marketing and creative strategies for Bitcoin companies.
