I really just don't understand bitcoin, can someone help me out?

I have read a fair amount on bitcoin but I really can't fully understand it. I want to start trading for it, I have an account on localbitcoins.com and verified my identity. I also opened up a wallet with Bisq. I can't figure out the first thing I should do. If someone could point me in the right direction or link an easy-to-follow guide that they've found helpful, I would really really appreciate it. Thanks sm.

Some merch store ideas

The new releases on the merch store are awesome, and I'm looking forward to picking some of it up when things are back in stock. I'm sure more products are being prepped for the store as I make this post, so I want to throw in some suggestions for things I think people would be interested in seeing!

  • Physical bitcoin
  • GP coin (I very much would buy these)
  • Fake stims, with various colors and labels to match the ones found in-game (maybe even have some with blank labels that you can mix with different caps/bodies to make your own)
  • The Interchange Object keycards, and a blank version so you can add your own object designation. To also tie into the lore behind these keycards, it'd be interesting if you also got documented "orders" for who the keycard would be issued to, with an online template to allow those who got the blank card to fill it out as they please and print the documents after
  • Slider keys and TG USB drives, dummy or working, either would be cool. Could also come with similar documentation to the object keycards
  • Chemical container from Vitamins Pt.1 and syringe from Chemical Pt.3
  • Fake versions of notable keys in the game, like marked key variants, lab mechanical keys, KIBA keys, and maybe even a generic blue and pink resort key
  • Module-3M look-alike, preferably with TARBANK printing
  • UNTAR gear, so some sort of look-alike vest, helmet, and possibly even the coming blue beret. I'm assuming there might be issues printing UN on stuff, so leaving that out is fine. Blue gear is just really hard to come by so it'd be cool to see if you could get someone to make some
  • KIBA gun accessories, so stuff like ammo cases with a good 'ol KIBA sticker slapped on. Actually, stickers for KIBA, TG, USEC, BEAR, ect. sounds fun in general for converting things...
  • For TG stickers, have some with both just the logo and logo with text in various sizes. More and more Tarkov airsoft events and short film projects are being attempted, and being able to slam a convincing TG logo on a hard case would make things pretty immersive
  • Keytool and maybe Dogtag case
  • Leather folder that is used in the folder with intelligence item, possibly comes with some free TG documents you can print out to fill it with

That's all that I have for now. Some TG flashdrives, blank object keycards, and a few GP coins sound like something I'd buy in a heartbeat! If I come up with more I'll add it in a section after this.

(Hyper)inflation

I learned a lot reading about Bitcoin and gold, but i was wondering if there is a guarantee that the US Dollar will collapse in value? If not, what prevents it from not going down? I know it is the reserve currency of the world but printing more USD doesn't automatically mean there will be high numbers of inflation (or perhaps hyperinflation)?

What is the difference in regards to the recent tragic events in Turkey, Libanon, Argentine, Venezuela, etc.? Is it all because of money printing that these currencies lost all of their purchasing power? It looks as if other countries will follow?

I find this very interesting but I still can't see the full big picture. Any good sources to keep learning about all this?

Do you guys believe the Euro and Dollar one day will completely dissapear? If they go to a digital Euro/Dollar .. How will that be different from the cash we are using right now?

Do you think the Euro will get the same faith as the USD? I keep reading about money printing in the USA but I hardly read anything about Europe (I live in Europe btw).

I invested a lot of my money into Bitcoin. It's actually the only asset I currently bought as an investment. I am thinking about buying stocks (particularly index funds) since every money book I read recommends this and i also want to diversify a little for if BTC would fail. Now I'm wondering in which index fund I should invest .. I particularly wonder if America will remain the most powerful capitalist country or if China will take over in the next 50 years .. That's the only thing preventing me from investing in stocks. I don't know what to invest in and especially since now all stocks are so high priced ..

I know this is kind of a ramble but I would love to gain new perspectives from everybody. Thanks for all the insights!
