NEVER GO IN THE DEEP WEB....EVER!
I HATE THE DEEP WEB or dark web as most people like to call it. It was a new concept to me and it was exactly the thing that I thought that I needed. Let me explain. About a year and a half ago my mom had caught me smoking weed in the backyard. I thought she wasn't home but… I was wrong I guess. Right after I got caught she started drug testing me. I tried to swindle the tests at first but nothing online worked, especially when I tested positive for pot. I got grounded worse and worse every time I got tested positive. So eventually I just gave up.
I don't know why, but I just loved to get high. I live in a very small town and the only drug dealers there were, only sold pot. So I could never find an alternative. That was…. Until my friend told me about the deep web. I've never heard of it before and was completely intrigued. He was telling me about how you could buy all sorts of illegal things there. Things as hard as heroin. Now it was never my intention to do heroin but I just needed to find an alternative to weed, because I can't smoke it anymore. So as soon as I came home from school that day, I got on my computer and started researching the deep web. I've learned that I needed to download Tor and that you can't just get in, there were secret entryways through and I had to follow instructions from this youtube video that I found. Before long, I was in. I was excited. It felt as though I was on a whole new plain of the internet. Now the video said something about keeping the censorship on. It said that it would help prevent me from stumbling upon a website that I was not supposed to come across. Keywords there, “help prevent”. At first, I just went in and got out, buying what I had wanted with bitcoins. Trying new things that my dealers never had here. Stuff like Molly and acid. I started having amazing experiences with these new substances that I was trying and the deep web had made it so easy for me.
One night my usual package arrived at my friend's house, I went over and picked it up. It was the same box, as usual, nothing strange really. As I opened the box, the whole vibe was different. My drugs were still in there thank god, but there was something extra. Something that didn't usually come with it. There was a black card. It said on it “YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED, CONGRATULATIONS”
Under the text was what seemed to be a web address, and on the back of the card was a date and time. Under that, it said, “DON'T BE LATE”. My friend was thoroughly freaked out. I, on the other hand, was overwhelmed with excitement.
I don't know why. I just was. This “event”, if you will, was in 2 days. I was very curious as to what exactly I was invited to. All that I could hope was that it was nothing too bad. As I said, I've only been on the sights that sell drugs and guns. Nothing beyond that and honestly I didn't think that the rest was any worse. Maybe just some illegal gambling sights and stuff with CP, none of which I was interested in.
Then it dawned on me, what if the link was to an online gambling session. Then again, isn't gambling actually legal, oh that's right that just in school. Its legal anywhere just frowned upon I guess. How stupid am I. Then what is this link. It was killing me. A burning fire of curiosity was driving me for the next two days. I couldn't even do anything in class, I could barely eat and stayed up late at night just wondering what's on the other side of that link. As I was in bed, I just couldn't handle it anymore. Whatever I was invited to was in about 6 hours but I just could not wait any longer. I got my computer out and got back on the deep web. I then took out the card and copied the link into my computer. As I was about to click enter, but as soon as I was about too….I paused.
Something for whatever reason had told me not to click it. However….. I told myself that it was killing me to know the entire day and that I shouldn't let a little fear stop me from figuring it out. I then counted to three and clicked enter. My screen went black. It was black for a really long time, I was actually starting to think that it was a dead link. That was until something finally popped up. It was a white box and in red letters, it had said “THANK YOU FOR JOINING US. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE ARE NO SHOWS GOING ON AT THE MOMENT. THE NEXT SHOW STARTS IN 19 HOURS 48 MINUTES AND 24 SECONDS. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THEN.”
Needless to say, that made me disappointed and only left my curiosity burning even more. I did not sleep that night. I just laid in my bed wondering what exactly the show was, and why was I invited to it. I can only assume that the seller of the drugs was the one who had invited me…. But why. My mind had gone into full detective mode at this point. Eventually, I looked at the clock and realized that it was 4 in the morning. Damn, that's late, or early depending on who you are.
I started to get ready for school. I did my usual routine. I showered, got breakfast, and brushed my teeth. As I got done I went straight to my bus stop. As I was about to get on though, I heard a vibration go off in my pocket. It was my phone. I took it out and realized that I had gotten a text from an unknown number. It literally said “unknown number”. When I read the text my stomach had sank.
It said “I’ll see you tonight James. It’s going to be a lot of fun :)” I just stood there for a second. More than that actually, I stood still for so long that the driver had to say something. “Hey, get on before I leave you” I then scurried on the bus, still a shocked look on my face. How did he know my name, who was he and how did he know about tonight? How did he get my phone number!
As soon as I got off the bus, I decided not to even go to school. I had walked straight back home. It was only a 3-mile walk after all. I thought to myself that maybe the walk would calm my nerves just a little bit. Surprise surprise, it didn't.
As soon as I had gotten home, I went straight to my room. My mom wasn't home all day so I didn't have to worry about her. I just worried about the task at hand. It was now 12 hours until the show and my excitement had turned into pure fear. I had so many questions and was wonder how the hell this person could have gotten my number and on top of that knew my name. Another thing is that the text seemed so friendly, it unsettled me.
I just sat in my room until 7:30 arrived. My mom still wasn’t home which was odd but I dismissed it because it meant that I didn't have to worry about her walking in my room during the “show”. My phone vibrated once again and it was another message from the unknown number. “Early access for the show starts now” followed by “come, there is a special spot for just for you”. I did not know what he meant by that, however, I summoned some courage.
I flipped open my laptop and typed the link into tor once again. Once I clicked enter, noticed that the website took longer to load this time. When it did, I was met with a chat box on the right side of the screen and black everywhere else. The chat box was booming with conversations. Mostly people greeting each other saying “welcome back” or “it's good to meet you again.” Someone had noticed that I was in there and said: “who is this guy”. Someone else responded with “I think he's the special guest”. Wait, what? Is that what the text meant by there is a special spot for me? This was all getting too weird.
In a sudden instant, the blackness on the screen turned red. Something popped up, it was a man wearing some kind of weird pig mask. All of a sudden people were cheering in the chat. Then the man in the pig mask said: “Welcome back to the red show everyone, its name to see some familiar names again.”I felt very uneasy. I wanted to get off the sight, despite how excited I was yesterday. I dragged my mouse and tried to click out….. Then my spine chills and stomach once again felt like a thousand butterflies.
It didn't let me click out. The man in the pig mask then laughed. All of a sudden another thing popped up on screen. It was what seemed to be a recording of someone in a room. Wait for a second….that looked like……. My jaw dropped. I was looking at myself on the stream. It was me, it was me on the screen, my room, and everything and it seemed to be a live recording to because I was watching myself freak the fuck out. “WHAT THE FUCK!” I shouted. The man in the mask had then said “WELCOME TO THE RED SHOW JAMES, YOU ARE TODAY'S SPECIAL GUEST. HERE ARE THE RULES OF THE SHOW. DO NOT CALL THE COPS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AND YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS STREAM ALL THE WAY THROUGH. IF YOU FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE RULES WE WILL NOT HURT YOU.” “WHEN DID YOU INSTALL THIS CAMERA IN MY ROOM YOU SICK FUCK!” I replied with trembling fearful anger. Then the man in the mask appeared off of the screen and switched to what seemed to be yet another live feed to another room. Not a normal room, but it seemed to be fully made from concrete. The sight of it just disgusted me.
A door had then opened. Someone was walking someone else in the room with a wheelchair. I should say right now that the quality of the camera was very good, almost as if it was HD. The person in the wheelchair had a bag over their head. From the looks of it, the person seemed like a woman and the other who was pushing the wheelchair was a very big and bulky man. I then realized something, the women was wearing a uniform of some kind, it looked like…..
My mothers work uniform. I looked at the screen in horror. My face went pale and the butterflies in my stomach had multiplied by a million. What the fuck. I couldn't speak. I was frozen. The man then pulled off the bag… thus revealing what I had just realized. It was most definitely my mom. Her face. Bloody. Parts of her blonde hair ripped out just sitting there unconscious. I turned back and I vomited on the floor. I couldn't stop. My fluids were just rushing out, screaming in agony and pain. Once I was done I looked back at the screen. People in the chat suddenly started telling the man what to do. One of them had told him to start off by cutting a part of her face and to lick it. The man nodded and was about to proceed until I fucking shouted: “DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH MY MOTHER, WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SICK TWISTED GAME!”
The man ignored me and proceeded to cut my mother face and, and licked the wound. I watched in disgust, frozen. I just couldn't move anymore, knowing that there was nothing that I could do. Another person in the chat then said to rip her shirt off… and the man did just that, and as an extra token, he ripped her bra off as well. My mom was just sitting there with now exposed breasts. I thought to myself “what the fuck”. Someone else then said to wake her up. The man nodded once again and grabbed something out of his pocket. He put it by her nose and snapped it. She then abruptly woke up screaming. It was one of the most ear-piercing and heartbreaking noises that I have ever heard. The next thing that happened killed me inside. I don't want to go into detail anymore but the people in the chat were giving the man ways of torturing her. Ways to make her scream in agony. I realized that I was crying, my entire face was covered in tears. I, I couldn't watch this. I just wanted to leave. They were torturing the women who had raised me, nurtured me, and put a roof under my head even when my dad left. I loved her and she was screaming right in front of me and there was nothing, nothing all that I could do, but watch. They then eventually made him……. R,r,r,rape her. I can't say anymore I'm getting upset I'm sorry but I can't go into any more detail. By the end, the man ended her. Yes, he killed her. My whole world had just come crashing down.
I just sat in my chair crying, watching the stream end. Everyone in the chat saying that it was one hell of a show. I then got a text. “TELL ANYONE ABOUT THIS, AND WE CAN MAKE YOUR LIFE A WHOLE HELL OF A LOT WORSE.” I didn't care. I ran the fuck out of my house. I ran 5 constant miles to my best friend's house. By the time a got there, I knocked no I was banging on the door screaming bloody murder for someone to open it. My friend angrily opened the door shouting “DUDE ITS 10 AT NIGHT, WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT!” I dragged him inside and explained everything to him. He was almost as shocked as I was.
I then got a text on my phone. “BIG MISTAKE”. Long story short. I am now on the run from them. My friend and his family had died when 2 people broke into their house. And now I am constantly watching over my shoulder. I am only writing this as a warning before I die to never to go on the deep web. Sinister shit lies there. If I had never gone on there, my life would be completely different now.

A troll (ME) doing god's work [HUMOUR]
Welcome! All of our representatives are U.S.-based and one will be with you shortly.
You’re now chatting with Carson.
ME:
Hi, how would I go about linking my discover card with a bitcoin wallet to be able to use my discover card on websites that only take bitcoin?
ME
Also I would like to be able to recieve bitcoin payments to my discover account if at all possible.
do you have any solutions for this?
ME
I do webdevelopment free lancing and I am exploring options for payments, since most of my customers are outside of the us, and the majority want to transact in this bitcoin thing.
Carson
Hey Taichentzu! I can see how that would be super helpful! I would suggest contacting bitcoin to see if they are able to show you how to link your card with their wallet. Does this guide you on what to do next?
ME
Not really... there does not seem to be one centralized company that does bitcoin stuff?
ME
Is it possible to accept bitcoin payments with discover?
Carson
I certainly understand the importance. We do not actually accept payments through bit coin. You can make payments online, can mail a check or money order, or by calling us at 1-800-DISCOVER. Does this help to clarify on our payment methods?
ME
sure, is there any third parties that you could reccomend to process bitcoin payments and then forward the transactions to the discover card?
Carson
I am not able to say who would be able to accept the payments through bitcoin, I would suggest contacting other merchants to see if they are able to accept payment through bitcoin.
Does this guide you on what to do next?
ME
Not really. :(
Is there any way you could get bitcoin payments added to a list of payments to be integrated with discover?
Carson
I would be happy to enter your feedback for you but as of now I do not know if we will be adding bitcoin as a payment method.
Did you have further questions on your payment for me?
ME
When can you add bitcoin?

Nuclear conflict: bitcoin will survive anyway
https://i.redd.it/byxb7yappn921.jpg
Nuclear conflict is very likely, since the number of atomic weapons in many countries exceeds thousands of charges. The result of a nuclear conflict will be almost complete destruction of infrastructure and the banking system as well.
The shortage of cash and the lack of controlling structures will lead to the fact that the survivors will have to switch to other means, but there will be serious problems with them. Humanity will have to look for completely new alternatives.
If such a conflict happen, then bitcoin can be called the best means of payment. Despite the fact that many cryptocurrencies will be destroyed, Bitcoin has a chance that it will survive a nuclear war. A number of nodes of the coin, thanks to the fact that they are scattered around the world and decentralized survive. Based on them, you can then restore the entire network using information from the surviving PCs. Even if one node remains, you can still completely restore the entire system.
All this is possible due to the fact that the architecture of Bitcoin itself, is based on the blockchain, which has phenomenal resistance to external influences and the ability to recover, despite attempts to eliminate. Analysts who are engaged in futuristic forecasting assume that the bitcoin created is just an attempt to survive a possible war and allow humanity to use it as a means of payment.
Countries that will rebuild their financial systems after a nuclear conflict will be forced to use Bitcoin, since almost all cash will simply burn out. Attempts are already being made to simulate possible scenarios for using Bitcoin as the main monetary unit in the event of such a development.
According to analytical reports, Bitcoin is likely to undergo changes, and will not be the same as we know it at the moment, but the original architecture will remain. The whole network will be recreated on its basis. Perhaps in the near future, programmers will be able to improve the leading cryptocoin so much that it will not be afraid of any man-made disasters. There is an opinion that Bitcoin is already now a self-modifying unit, which is preparing in advance for the fact that humanity will survive a nuclear war.
Of course, it is better that this never happens, and Bitcoin will be just another e-currency. But it will help us survive and become really the only means of payment on the entire planet.

Splitting BCH/BSV coins problem - 6b00 error
Using the guide here: https://support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012270054-Safely-claim-Bitcoin-Cash-SV-BSV-
On step 2, #4, where you select "hardware wallet", click next, it gives error: "Exception: Invalid status 6b00" - I get the same error when using electron cash 3.3.3 and the splitting one 3.3.1CS. Same error when having the bitcoin cash or regular bitcoin apps open on the ledger.
Tried on multiple computers, all giving same error. Ledger MCU is 3.3, Secure element is 2.0.1ngs, on Ledger Live app, it shows "Ledger Blue Firmware 2.0.1"
Time to discuss the elephant in the room. Nicehash 51% Attacks.
While I've argued for ProgPoW because I'm not a fan of ASIC manufactures because of their malicious business practices, I think we all know the real problem for PoW security, Hashrate Rental sites. Let's go through a short-list of coins that are listed on Nicehash, where hashpower could be bought and then executed a 51% attack.
BitcoinPrivate 51% (Ethical Hack)
Nicehash has been the #1 to go to "sell" hashpower for whatever coin they support for BTC and other rental services such as miningrigrental. While we cannot prove that this attacks were used by buying hashpower on nicehash, a ethical hacker
Geocold lived streamed how easy it was to attack PoW coin BTCP. "using a couple of hundred dollars’ worth of rented hashpower he’d purchased from Nicehash with BTC" (bitcoin.com). We can assume then that other 51% attacks all follow this method.
Step 1. Buy more Hashpower than the current network using rental services
Step 2. moves coins on the true network to other addresses, makes deposits, then withdraws them to a safe addresses
Step 3. broadcast the untruthful chain to the network
Step 4. this reverts the truthful network.
Step 5. Profit.
Shockingly, several crypto-currencies not only were cheap to attack but also had plenty of hash rate for sale on NiceHash with which such an attack could take place. When 51% attacks were considered in the past, most calculations included the cost of hardware, electricity, and maintenance. But this new “rent-a-attack” method is proving dangerous for smaller networks. (ccn.com)
This is what happened to ETC recently. Few people who were using nicehash services commented that they noticed a pay-bump mining ETH-HASH.
One PoW altcoin team has set up a script to constantly monitor their hashrate. In the event of a spike of over 10%, they will be automatically notified. Should the newly added hashrate emanate from an unknown pool, or be in danger of tipping an existing pool over 50%, they have a large quantity BTC on standby with Nicehash ready to purchase their own firepower to counter the attack (bitcoin.com)
Again it shows the only way that people counter this is to over-bid/buy more hashrate.
While I understand PoS doesn't suffer from these type of attacks. However I find it unreasonable to say PoW is flawed because 51% attacks. Hashrental services we not envisioned by Satoshi's PoW. Any actual mining actors not using hash rentals would need a sizable amount of resources to perform a 51% and double-spend even on small cap coins. Nicehash takes your money and doesn't care.
The elephant Crypto needs to deal with it shutting off nicehash and rental services. After the nicehash hack I know I saw a sizable increase in profits because difficulty dropped on so many coins.
IMHO Nicehash needs to turn-off purchasing hashrate and instead turn to "auto-covert" where they mine the coin that's profitable that day and turn into bitcoin for the user. We wouldn't have the chance of 51% attacks.

Step 5. Profit.

I need guides and tutorials on hacking, carding, bitcoin trading and anonymity in general.
I had in the years gone been through a lot while seeking for knowledge and a bit of perfection in the field listed above. Well I started off learn how to card then moved up to cracking using free tutorials and at one point I lost a lot of resources to other individuals who posed a sellers of tools and drops.
I even had hackers I paid for jobs that didn't attempt to work on those jobs, those I met on Dark Web was at a point good till one day each of them started going against my plans.
Well I don't believe in stories, I had a life that says 'move on to the next when the formal fails'. That's what am doing and am strongly committing my mind and time to learning what it takes and should have to perfect this move. I want to learn hacking of web pages to databases, botnet and other exploits that could be achieved. Get on to getting 99% of my carding work done successfully including 100% anonymity. Count me on dummy level, honestly it won't deter me, I've a mind to learn and am going after it with the mind of a child that plunders on learning.
I know someone out there has what it takes to grant me my desires and am willing to absorb whatever it takes. You may reach me on here or on ICQ 744953907. Am ever ready. Thanks

SeedPicker - Here to help you create your own seed phrase!
Hi r/Bitcoin!
I'd like to introduce a guide (+ some code) that I have been working on. It's called SeedPicker and it helps you to create your own 24 word seed phrase in a safe and transparent way.
In short, the method is to use paper slips (like raffle tickets) and a six-sided die to randomly pick the first 23 words of the seed. Then you calculate the 24th word using a safe computer and the included "SeedPicker last word calculator".
For a longer explanation, please read the intro text and the FAQ.
I started the project but I have also gotten some good contributions on GitHub. Any additional feedback/suggestions/questions would be great!

Bitcoin drama and unsolved mysteries in its' earliest days
Hi all,
Before I start, I would like to point out this is a repost. I posted this in here a couple of months back and it got some traction. I noticed that this particular subreddit is still growing quite rapidly and I figured that some of you may find this an entertaining or interesting story if you haven't read it yet since it kind of matches the subreddit's theme.
So the story is one about Bitcoin. I'm pretty sure you've all heard about this online digital currency by now. It was invented in 2008 and became quite popular because of its private transaction nature. Bitcoin has a very mysterious legacy that starts with its inventor. Its inventor published the Bitcoin paper online in 2008 and helped develop Bitcoin online up until may 2011. Til that time, the inventor of Bitcoin had never revealed his identity to the public, and was only known by his online pseudonym, Satoshi Nakamoto. But in may 2011, Satoshi vanished and left a note saying he had moved on 'to other things'. Satoshi never resurfaced and still owns approximately 1 million Bitcoin that remain unspent and unmoved until this very day (worth $4,000,000,000 as we speak). Some have claimed to be him, others speculate that he is dead, but the fact is that only Satoshi has access to those ancient wallets containing the dormant Bitcoins. Noone has ever come forward to unlock one of the wallets in front of the public, which would proof the ID of satoshi. It is one of the biggest online unsolved mysteries ever.
Anyway - this thread isnt about Nakamoto. Its about the weird and criminal community that revolved around Bitcoin in its earliest years. Within this small community, mostly residing on Bitcointalk, there was a lot of drama going down in 2011 about various hacks, ponzi's and exit scams back in those days. Since the community was pretty tight and close, this often lead to heavy finger-pointing and deep online investigations. Some of the stories were very conspiracy-like and run quite deep. The article linked below sums up many of those events chronologically while also presenting all the community hassle that revolved around it in a fun way, it is worth a read and is called "Bitcoin down the rabbit hole - Online drama and unsolved mysteries in Bitcoin's earliest days..". Hope you enjoy.
