[Altcoin Discussion] Saturday, June 15, 2019

Thread topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Discussion related to recent events
  • Technical analysis, trading ideas & strategies
  • General questions about altcoins

Thread guidelines:

  • Be excellent to each other.
  • All regular rules for this subreddit apply, except for number 2. This, and only this, thread is exempt from the requirement that all discussion must relate to bitcoin trading.
  • This is for high quality discussion of altcoins. All shilling or obvious pumping/dumping behavior will result in an immediate one day ban. This is your only warning.
  • No discussion about specific ICOs. Established coins only.

If you're not sure what kind of discussion belongs in this thread, here are some example posts. News, TA, and sentiment analysis are great, too.

What is the difference between token and coin?

ND MARKET by ND INVEST LTD is a platform for instant purchases of real estate, cars, furniture, and other goods at discounted and promotional prices. https://www.ico.ndinvest.ltd.

🔶 The platform has its own token NDCOIN, which is the main token to pay for real estate, cars, and furniture with a guaranteed increase in value.

🔶 The NDCOIN token is a highly liquid token designed on the basis of the Ethereum platform and the only means of payment that ensures payment of the deposit on the ND MARKET platform.

🔶The token standard is ERC 20. The total volume of tokens will be 500 million, without the possibility of issuing new ones.

🔶 Why a token, and what is the difference between a token and a coin?

🔶 Coins and tokens are cryptocurrencies. However, if coins, for example, such as Bitcoin, Lightcoin, and others, work on their own blockchain, then tokens live on top of the existing infrastructure, such as Ether.

🔶 Coins have their own independent transactional registers, and tokens rely on a core network technology to verify and secure operations.

🔶 COINS are often used FOR TRANSFERING FINANCIAL ACCUMULATIONS directly, and TOKENS carry much MORE FUNCTIONS - it is a contract for almost anything: from PHYSICAL OBJECTS to TICKETS for events and loyalty points. That is why NDCOIN is a token.
