The world’s largest cryptocurrency established $7,568.32 as its new session peak, bringing its year-to-date net rebound up to 140 percent on San Francisco-based Coinbase exchange. The broader cryptocurrency market tailed bitcoin’s uptrend, with a majority of top assets posting double-digit gains, including Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, EOS, and Ethereum. Even Bitcoin SV, which lately faced trading ban at several cryptocurrency exchanges, saw a 10 percent appreciation in the last 24 hours.

Bitcoin’s continuous climb to $7,500 came in the wake of improving buying sentiment and technical forecasts. Fidelity Investments, a Boston-based asset management firm with a vast Wall Street clientele, announced last week that it would add bitcoin trading to its list of institutional investment services. At the same time, online investment service TD Ameritrade started offering stimulated bitcoin trading through Nasdaq, raising hopes that a full-fledged bitcoin adoption was underway.
Meanwhile, technical data continued to identify the end of bitcoin’s most prolonged bearish phases after the asset formed a low in $3,100-3,200 range on December 15, 2018. Momentum indicator Stochastic RSI, for instance, rebounded from its oversold territory for the first time since February 2018 on monthly charts. The move identified a trend shift, meaning that the market was eyeing an extended bitcoin price recovery in the future.
At the same time, bullish analysts continued to strengthen their long-term upside targets following the Golden Cross formation. The technical chart pattern held a historical significance in the bitcoin market for shooting the price from $300 to $20,000 in 14 months. The latest Golden Cross formation too prompted a bitcoin uptrend which, as bulls believed, would lead the price beyond $20,000 by the end of this year.
A significant investment firm was also studying bitcoin’s old price behavior to understand its next move. Vancouver-based Canaccord Genuity found that bitcoin could continue its bull trend over the next 24 months. The firm expected the cryptocurrency to retest $20,000 due to next year’s Halving event, which would reduce the current bitcoin supply by half.
“Now four months into 2019, we note for the third time the striking similarity in bitcoin’s price action between 2011-2015 and 2015-2019,” Canaccord said in a note. “While this simple pattern recognition has a little fundamental basis, we note that bitcoin does operate on a four-year cycle of sorts, as the halving of bitcoin’s mining reward occurs approximately every four years.”
The bitcoin price was now eyeing the $7,785-8,602 range as its next potential bull target. The said area had adequate reversal sentiment, given its ability to cap small uptrends between April and July 2018. A pullback at any given level could push the bitcoin price violently towards interim supports, the nearest one being at $7,000.

I would like to share with you all a process that I have refined over the past year to foster privacy. Let's be honest, you can't be 100% private on the web, but it's a matter of degree- you don't want your ass hanging out either.
Ever since the Russia/Facebook scandal, sites have been cracking down on "fake" accounts harder than ever before. I am a privacy advocate, and after the scandal, I discovered many of my accounts were being banned. I really sincerely take issue with the "real name" policy, and I have had to up my fake account game. Let's be honest, we all know that "real name"/"verified identity" policies are just a way for corporate and government entities to infringe upon our privacy and civil liberties even more. I think all of us on this sub agree on that.
Without further ado, I'd like to share with you the method and processes by which I circumvent these policies:
Start with hidemyass or nordvpn. Sadly, TOR is blocked virtually everywhere and is going to cause you to be flagged immediately on most sites these days. Configure your devices to route through a single endpoint and to shut down if they are not connected to VPN.
For super critical stuff, you should still try to use TOR wherever possible.
For some reason in this day and age, having a phone number seems to be considered a gold standard proof that you are "real." I'm not sure why. This assumption is kind of silly.
For the longest time, I was using the softphone "Burner" app to generate virtual phone numbers. This loophole was closed sometime in 2018, and now "softphone" numbers are banned pretty much across the board, including Google Voice. This was a source of a great deal of aggravation for me, as you might imagine. But I was really determined to keep my system working, so I had to get creative.
I bought a cheap burner phone off amazon. Nothing too fancy. Then I bought a bunch of $5 - $10 prepaid SIM cards. You'll be good for a long time with these. If you can, configure your burner to go through your VPN as well to provide an extra layer of consistency and assurance. Set up a SIM and provide fake information. Here you can probably get away with using Burner if they ask you for a backup contact number. It should take a few hours to set up.
Set up a google account. You should get one for free if your burner is an Android. This is a great place to start, as gmail accounts are considered "more reputable" than many others which do not require phone verification. This is your jumping off point for setting up all other accounts.
While you're at it, you should set up the following accounts with your new burner phone:
Don't ask me why, but microsoft outlook live mail is still considered highly reputable, though it's really crappy. Make sure you use different and neutral usernames for each email.
I have had the best luck with neutral bullshit usernames like "baseballdude45." It is important not to use a name in your email. Nothing screams "fake account" to web site support more than a real name in your email or nick that does not match the name you have provided to them.
I am sure that this section will be most controversial. For sure, it is the most likely to get you shadowbanned from various services across the internet, so beware. You must never log into any of these sites from outside your VPN, or from devices with cookies from your other accounts.
It should almost go without saying that you are not to friend any of your usual friends via these accounts. It will be painfully obvious that you're a fake, and you'll be on your way towards getting yourself banned. Lastly, I'd like to add that there's really no point in using facebook- the entire point of the site is to de-anonymize you and then sell your personal information. Maybe just quit unless you have a very specific use-case in mind. And definitely stay away from the Facebook app- that thing is cancer. This is common sense- do I even need to repeat it?
Here's where things get interesting. You can buy prepaid credit cards and then use them online. But know that signing up for credit cards under your fake name is a big crime- a felony as a matter of fact- so definitely don't do that.
If you're ambitious, you can also sign up for an amazon account and pay using your prepaid cards.
As a sidenote- you'll hear various people pushing bitcoin and ethereum. These are not anonymous. They're basically the opposite of anonymous- all of your transactions will be published and freely available for all the world to see, so just stay away from them.
Depending upon how intensely you use your accounts, you should cycle them out of use and set up a new burner and VPN on a regular interval. Make sure you don't get complacent and stay on one account for too long.
You may choose to delete your accounts and all content on them so that you don't leave it orphaned, which may cause it to become a liability years down the road in case you get doxxed or you lose control of it. Consider deleting all of your content, or at least just the content that has personally identifiable information, especially on reddit. I'm sure you all know this already.
Another interesting possibility is to re-sell your accounts. There are a bunch of grey markets out there where you can make hundreds of dollars doing this. It also may help to obfuscate your identity because the other person will be using it towards different aims. Beware that this could backfire if they use your account to try to dox you, or to engage in illegal behaviours.
This concludes my guide. If any of you are like minded I'd really appreciate you letting me know if you have stumbled upon any other techniques. Or if you can poke holes in my methodology, that's great, too. I'd like to use your feedback to keep this guide up to date for a time.

The Ethereum blockchain is a unique platform through which people can use tokens to create and run applications and create smart contracts. The smart contract is one of the major distinguishing features between Ethereum and other types of digital currencies. It’s basically a contract, but instead of being written physically or in a digital format, it’s written in code. The creator then uploads the contract into the blockchain.
Progress on the terms of the contract is tracked and stored in the public ledger, which makes the details surrounding that contract tamperproof. The contract code is structured as to work according to its terms in order to ensure both parties or individuals involved keep their part of the contract.
A vivid example could be you rent a motorbike from a firm that uses Ethereum. A smart contract is generated immediately, and once you deliver the agreed amount of currency, the system automatically sends a digital key to unlock the motorbike . This entire process is carried out on the public blockchain and everyone can see what has been done.
Ether is a token whose blockchain is generated by the Ethereum platform. Ether can be transferred between accounts and used to compensate participant mining nodes for computations performed. Ethereum was proposed in late 2013 by Vitalik Buterin, a cryptocurrency researcher and programmer. Development was funded by an online crowdsale that took place between July and August 2014.
Ethereum is an improvement on the Bitcoin blockchain. It is a decentralized public blockchain which employs the smart contract and a distributed computing system.

I am hearing a few (not many) politicians express fear over Bitcoin (Sherman, ECB head). Their worries are misplaced. And in the case of Sherman, his actions are the result of corruption (Sherman is paid for by transaction companies).
They need to be educated that Bitcoin is the same competition as any other international currency presents today; there should be no fear from states/central leaders. Americans and other national residents can own various foreign exchange currencies, there is no reason this should differ for Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is not a challenge to the US dollar. It aims to accomplish liberty for citizens outsize of the fiat use case. In the USA, as long as the US Dollar is used for bonds and tax collection and must be accepted by merchants, then that is the currency of the land. And the US and other countries can also dictate which large markets (oil, commodities, etc) must be settled in what currency. That is never going to change and Bitcoin does not aim to change that.
Bitcoin is a store of wealth asset and you can also barter (transact) with it if you wish (just like anything else), its nothing to get antsey about. And at least with bitcoin the leading crypto is transparent with a visible blockchain, legislators should like that as opposed to threatening to ban it where surely anonymous cryptocurrencies will take over. Given enough time cryptocurrencies will create higher velocity commerce and higher velocity tax collection for states. They should embrace innovation over succumbing to irrational fear.

My thoughts are that we pretty much ran out of sellers. Shorts just got smoked not once but twice big time. We sold down from $20k, the people that wanted to sell sold down to the low $3k. Now we have new accounts, big money with real players (lagit players) in the house! The new people and brokers are just now starting to figure this out.
Goal one: Try to own 1 full bitcoin. After u have ur 1 full btc a lot of the stress of ups and downs go away because of the mentally you know ur part of the 21million. Makes it easier to hold. Then buy all the other sh*tcoins you heart desires. Leave ur BTC sit for the next six months🤑🤑🤑🤑 I love TA but with this market it’s harder to chart like you can the stock market. A lot of unknowns involved. I use charts and news as a guide and not a crystal ball 🔮. The market sentiment and volume of new users is only increasing!!!! All this is MY OWN OPINION and has worked well for me.
