Recent milestones

  • On September 8, the ViteX Exchange mobile version was released. Users can use the ViteX exchange to conduct transactions on the mobile phone.
  • At 12 pm UTC +8 on September 9, VX mining officially began. During the first 24 hours, the total transaction volume reached 125.11 BTC with 50,000,000 VITE staked.
  • On September 9, HashFin became an official SBP of the Vite public chain.
  • On September 10, we officially partnered with Xangle to provide accurate, comprehensive and transparent information within the crypto place. You can check out Xangle’s Vite and ViteX pages now!
  • At 2 pm UTC+8 on September 11, Vite Pre-Mainnet had a hard fork named LEAF. This will be the last hard fork before the Mainnet. The SBP registration staking requirements was adjusted from 500K VITE 1 million VITE.
  • On September 11, transactions on the Vite wallet can now be viewed on BTC.com.

System Developments

go-vite

v2.6.0 has been released with the following features:

  1. Adjusted the SBP staking requirements from 500K VITE to 1 million VITE.
  2. Optimized internal implementations, including fixing a cache bug during synchronization and improving overall synchronization speed.

Vite Wallet App

Completed:

  • Vite Android Wallet v2.5.1 was released with improvements to app stability.
  • v2.6.0 airdrop compatible with Android 10.0 was completed.
  • Fixed bugs in mobile in-wallet DEX.
  • PC version compatibility and optimization was finished and regression test has been completed; mining dividend visualization features were released.

In progress:

  • Vite Wallet iOS v3.0.0 to be tested. Features include: ViteConnect stability optimization, batch authorization function, exchange asset page and deposit withdrawal function, and QR code backup mnemonic.
  • Vite Wallet Android V3.0.0 in development: ViteConnect stability optimization 70% complete, exchange asset page and deposit withdrawal function 20% complete, QR code backup mnemonic 70% complete.
  • The first iteration of the order history display has been developed on mobile version DEX.

ViteX Exchange

  • Operator API was released.
  • Released market-making as mining function and optimized data storage and calculation time.
  • Finished developing memory depth build, database and memory consistency detection. Currently under testing.
  • Mobile version of DEX will be optimized. Interface self-test development was completed and is to be tested.
  • Exchange smart contract interface re-naming to confirm to specifications, code modification were completed.

Community Building

  • On September 6, Tony Wang, the Operations Director of Vite Labs had an AMA in the Chinese community regarding the topic “Vite — the world’s first DAG-based public chain with smart contract support”.
  • On September 13, the VIte Silicon Valley team hosted the first Vite Global Community Manager online conference, with 7 community administrators from different countries participating in this online event.
  • The “My ??? Uses ViteX” campaign was officially launched on September 16 and will finish on September 29. To learn how to participate, please see this article.

Activities

  • On September 12, the Vite Silicon Valley team co-hosted the Silicon Valley Bitcoin event on Decentralized Exchanges in San Mateo.
