[Hiring] Writer(s) For Harm Reduction Website about Psychedelics ($0.08-0.12/word)

We're a group of psychedelic enthusiasts who are looking to hire writers for our website on the history, effects, health benefits, and safe use of psychedelic drugs (e.g. LSD, psilocybin). We've previously hired 3 writers from this subreddit and others (also a graphic designer and a VA). One of our writers has had to take a pause due to family issues, so we're looking to hire 1 - 2 more.

Example Articles

+ How Do I Find a Psychedelic Guide?

+ What is 4-AcO-DMT, and How Does it Compare to Psilocybin?

+ How Do I Conduct Reagent Tests for LSD and its Analogs?

Rates

We pay $0.08 - 0.12/word, depending on the difficulty of the article and your skill. Some articles are more rote than others. The rates are negotiable in either direction - if you're particularly skilled we'd consider a higher rate, and if you're an inexperienced writer, we'd consider a lower rate.

Payment

We can pay by Monero, Bitcoin, or Paypal, ordered in terms of our preference for payment. If we get a lot of responses, we'll probably not consider people only accepting Paypal. Using Bitcoin is pretty straightforward, and we can walk you through how to cash out your Bitcoin. We pay 1/2 up front for each article, and 1/2 after each article is completed.

Workflow

  • Important: All articles should be written/formatted in Markdown. We'll provide examples of formatting, but if you've ever used "old Reddit", you should know how to do the formatting.
  • We provide a prompt, which includes the introduction already written, always includes the H1, and sometimes includes the H2's, and H3's.
  • Up to two revisions per article. On average we've had one revision on articles.

Other Notes

  • The articles are not particularly time-sensitive - this isn't a blog. So, we're happy to accommodate a variety of schedules.
  • We're looking for articles written in a professional style. Full and clear sentences, no slang, but doesn't have to be fully academic. We would like citations, but we're not anal about a particular bibliographical style.

Sample/Questions

If interested in this job, please answer the following questions.

  1. What is your experience (knowledge or practical) with psychedelics?
  2. Please describe your writing experience and provide samples of any relevant work.

Send this by private message (not Reddit chat). After we've screened initial inquiries, we'll provide a paid test job to qualified applicants.
