So assuming for a moment that time travel is actually possible and an individual travels back in time, for example the year 2005. If they then invested a bunch of money in Bitcoin knowing how much itll rise or bet on sporting events and it becomes obvious it is no coincidence, if Governments would then find out that this individual definitely time travelled, would there even be any legal recourse at that point for the Government to take any of that money back? I mean considering time travel is not believed to be possible, it would be unlikely that there are any laws in place for it, but if somehow it was possible, would Governments just have their hands tied and not be able to prevent the time traveller from making any more money?
