The irrational hate on this sub

Why is everyone here so in to bashing crypto when this could be it's best year yet? With all the instability in the world at least maybe you should consider why the technological feat of decentralization could transform society and move us out of a world where governments can do whatever they will with the supply of the money you use everyday, such as the Fed's over 3 trillion stimulus that mostly was used to prop up equity markets but will make its way into circulation and cause an inflationary spiral soon. Sometimes, it can help to consider an opposing opinion even if it may be a bit esoteric or unpopular. In fact if you haven't heard what's been going on in crypto this year you missed:

  • Billionaires like Watkin Tudor Jones are now beginning to accumulate vast amounts of cryptocurrency as a hedge against inflation, and are publicly proclaiming their intent to do so. This is HUGE and will only continue to bolster the price stability, public adoption and safe haven status

  • The Lightning Network has been upgraded overall, increasing the privacy and maximum amount of funds that can be sent via this rail. Further development will make bitcoin point and click simple to use, and once again the pubic will be amazed by the sleek UX, and flock to try it out

  • The halving has completed successfully, now that the uncertainty of the halving event is out of the way, the price can continue to climb to its true value. With more institutional futures and options exchanges going online, it becomes much easier to arrive at a fair valuation. This should bolster price stability and user confidence.

In short, there are a lot of reasons why Bitcoin and crypto might be worth a second look. On this halving day of May 11, why not take a fresh perspective and see what is going on out there!
