As the title suggests, here is a thorough step-by-step guide on how to make money through transferring money to yourself. I concede that this has already been before by others, but it is important in the current climate to help as many people as possible so that they can take advantage of essentially free money. In this guide I will post both referral and non-referral links to each site, and individual guides on how to take advantage of each offer available now. In keeping it fair to all, please feel free to post your own referral links below.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU BEGIN.
The only way to take advantage of these offers is if you have a bank account based in a European country. I myself prefer to use my TransferWise account as I find it a very easy to use platform, although other alternatives are available as set out in the table below.

Once you have signed up to a European bank account, you can now take advantage of all the money transfer offers available. There are unfortunately a few instances where money is lost in the transfer process. However, this is more likely down to inputting bank details incorrectly. Please make sure you check and recheck before sending any money. I would also recommend doing each offer one by one as it makes the process easier and more straightforward.
In the table below I have set out which money transfer services are available and their respected current bonuses.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE
Azimo UK – Referral Option (ref/non-ref) (non-ref = no bonus)

By going through this method, you will be unable to use the TopCashback alternative set out below. While the cashback option pays out more, if you are looking for a quick buck then this is the option to go for. Signing up to Azimo UK is quite straightforward. There is a verification process where you will need either a UK Passport or Drivers Licence in order to transfer money. Once you have successfully signed up using a referral link, you can apply your £10 voucher to your £100 transfer (essentially paying £90). You must use your UK bank account/card for this process, and you must send it to your European bank account (no UK to UK transfer). Within 1-3 business days your money will arrive in your account.
If you sign up for Azimo Business, using a referral you can get £50 off your £250+ transfer.
If you have a TransferWise account and were referred, you can then transfer the money back without any fees into your UK bank account. Netting a £10 profit from Azimo UK.
In summary:
- Sign up to Azimo using a referral link to get a £10 voucher (£50 for business users)
- Verify your identity (if necessary)
- Transfer £100 from your UK account to your EUR account (should then be discounted to £90) Again, check all the details are correct. (£250 minimum transfer for business users, discounted to £200).
- Wait 1-3 business days for money to arrive in EUR account.
- Transfer money back to UK account, netting a £10 profit. (£50 profit for business users).
Azimo UK – TopCashback Option (TCB ref/non-ref)

Once you have a TopCashback UK account, use their link to Azimo to make sure your transaction is tracked. Not doing so will prevent you from claiming this bonus. Make sure that pop-ups are disabled for Topcashback.
Please note that this is not an instant payment method, and you will have to wait roughly 6 weeks for your cashback to be payable to you.
Sign up to Azimo UK through the TCB link above, you will need to verify your identity in order to transfer money. You can use a UK Drivers Licence or a UK Passport for this. You will then need to send £150+ from your UK bank account/card to your EUR bank account. You cannot send money to another UK account if this is to work.
Please allow 1-3 business days for the money to appear in your EUR account. If you have a TransferWise account and were referred, you can then transfer the money back without any fees into your UK bank account. Your cashback should track quickly however please allow up to 7 days for this. If after 7 days your cashback has not tracked, you can raise a claim to TopCashback in order to try and resolve this.
In summary:
- Sign up/Login to TopCashback and use their link to Azimo UK for so they can track your transaction.
- Verify your identity (if necessary).
- Transfer £150+ from your UK bank account to your EUR account, check all details are correct before transfer.
- Wait 1-3 business days for the money to arrive in your EUR account.
- Transfer money back into your UK account.
- Keep an eye on your TCB account, you should see £25 tracked within a day.
- If after 7 days it has not tracked, raise a claim through TopCashback.
Skrill (ref/non-ref) (non-ref = no bonus)
WARNING – PLEASE CHECK ALL DETAILS ARE CORRECT BEFORE SENDING MONEY.
This one is very easy and quick to do. In order to claim the bonus you must use a referral code. Once you have signed up, you will need to send £100 from your UK bank account/card to your EUR account in order to gain the bonus. You will recieve a £10 voucher reducing the cost of your transfer from £100 to £90. When you make your first transfer, you will need to verify your identity using either a UK Passport or a UK Drivers Licence. Please note that the verification process can take up to two business days.
Please allow up to 1-3 business days for your money to arrive in your EUR bank account. Once it has arrived, you can send the money back to your UK bank account. Essentially profiting £10 in the process.
In summary:
- Sign up to Skrill using a referral in order to claim the voucher.
- Transfer £100 from your UK account to your EUR account (make sure all the details are correct before sending) Using the voucher will reduce the price from £100 to £90 (essentially profiting £10)
- Verify your identity using a UK Passport or Drivers Licence. (Can take up to 2 business days)
- Allow 1-3 business days for the money to arrive in your EUR account.
- Transfer money back into your UK bank account.
WorldRemit (ref/non ref) (non-ref = no bonus)
WARNING – PLEASE CHECK ALL DETAILS ARE CORRECT BEFORE SENDING MONEY.
This one is my personal favourite as it is quick to sign up and the bonus pay-out is higher than most. You will need to use a referral link again for this to work. Signing up is very straightforward. Once you have signed up, transfer £100 from your UK account/card to your EUR account. You can apply the code ‘3FREE’ to remove any transfer fees.
Please allow up to 3 business days for the money to appear in your account. However both times that I have used WorldRemit the money was in my EUR account on the same day as the transfer.
Once your transfer is complete, you will receive an email a few days later from WorldRemit with your £20 voucher code to use against your next international transfer. Unfortunately the next time you use them you will have to pay transfer fees (I paid £2.99, essentially making a profit of £17.01) I did not however need to transfer £100 like before, I transferred £80 in order for the voucher to work.
In summary:
- Sign up to WorldRemit using a referral in order to get a £20 voucher to use in the future.
- Transfer £100 from your UK bank account to your EUR account. Avoid any fees by using the code ‘3FREE’. (Check all details are correct before sending).
- Allow 1-3 business days for the money to appear in your EUR account.
- Transfer the money back into your UK bank account.
- In a few days, WorldRemit will send you a voucher code for £20 off your next transfer.
- Repeat the transfer process, this time paying the transfer fee but using your £20 off voucher code instead.
- Profit £17.01
Xendpay (ref/non-ref) (non ref = no bonus)

Again this one is very straightforward, and it has the same process as Skrill, whereby you will get £10 off your total transfer cost. You can only do this by using a referral.
After signing up using a referral, transfer £100 from your UK bank account/card to your EUR account. You will obviously want to avoid any fees so change the transfer fee to £0. You will then see that your transfer of £100 is now £90, essentially profiting £10.
Please allow 1-3 business days for the money to appear in your EUR account. Once the money is in your account, simply transfer it back to your UK bank account.
In summary:
- Sign up using a referral link for this to work.
- Once signed up, transfer £100 from your UK bank account to your EUR account. You should have a £10 discount applied. Remember to check all details prior to sending and click on the option to send the money without any fees.
- Allow 1-3 days for the money to appear in your EUR account.
- Simply send the money back to your UK bank account.
- Profit = £10.
