Note: because of poisoned crypto-currency atmosphere & too many scam ICOs, being skeptical is totally normal. so feel free to ask every doubt in comment below.
Money is speech, But don't get me wrong! Precisely the "exchange-rate" is speech.
Hello dear reader,
It is Hu, a freedom enthusiast software developer, who believes in Privacy, digital rights and human equality as well. I implemented an innovative mixed technology to cover some drawbacks in current classic internet and central-oriented services as well as wipe out some flaws in economy.
I do not want to fit the project in an “ism“ or a certain ideology, regime or school of thought, simply because the project is a comprehensive infrastructure of human knowledge and experiences. It belongs to whole humankind, hence my intention of that strive is human prosperity and I hope your intention being human prosperity as well.
Probably you already get I am not a native English speaker, so excuse me for language shortcoming, but I tried to do my best.
The project is based on 2 essential mechanisms.
I. making an alternative economy on top of current society believes and pillars, which has not current economy’s flaws, in a practical and feasible manner, and regarding to changing radically the economy in long run. Progressive and gradually.
II. implementing a game theory that encourage/facilitate more and more people to participate, and the methodology in which even evils compelled to do the good job.
I am not too educated in politic or economy. They were my hobbies. But as long as I drilled down those stuff I found myself in a situation, damn! Someone has to do something. At least must start something to change this drama in the world, instead of complain and complain and complain, what most of us doing.
So eventually I end up with the idea, which I explain it next few lines. And I highly appreciate you if support me by writing your opinion about that.
Please consider that:
I. For the sake of brevity I wrote the rough idea, I’ll post complete proposal in different chapters.
II. This idea is not a restricted & closed recipe. It is a pure booting infrastructure, to build a huge freedom building on top of it.
Here are some links of semi finalized chapters of proposal. Probably you are not enough interested to click the link and read stories yet, so you can jump links and read the brief intro and later go back to links for more details.
- Improving shortage of current monetary system and abolish the harmful functionality of Banks (either governmental or commercial) by “An alternative monetary and wealth distribution model”
- encourage people to join to network and mix and resonate their efforts by “Open Money, a glue for accelerate”
- enhancing privacy and privacy tools for mass and average users on top of current giants company’s dominant on internet by “Bending the rules, spray flavor of cryptography on monopol centralized services” https://www coming soon
Brief introduction of project.
“imagine” we have a monetary system which regularly(say daily) mints X amounts of an imaginary coins(calling it PAI), calling this system “imagine”. The coins will be distributed right after minting, between imagine’s community.
The community member are people who did “something good” for community. And community members are in charge of make decision about who can join to community and how good was their participation.
Recap:
- Everyday X amount of coins are minted.
- Community members decide how these coins must be divided.
- Community members can spend their coins in order to purchase good or services from who accepts that coins (either the other community members or not members).
- There are some mechanism to limiting coin supply (such as halving…) you can find it in above links
Until now we made up an small community. Maybe 2 or 3 person. Because of human nature, people prefers to keep more coins for themselves. If it is not possible so they divide coins between as less as possible people, and if this is not possible too, they divide it between their clan. But none of these 3 approaches will help the community. Since value of a currency depends on it’s users (e.g. people who accept the coin in exchange of their good or services), the community has to be expanded and embrace new members to raise up the money usability and applicability to advance market range. Bigger community means less daily coins for each member. Supply & demand rule causes to raise coin value. Community adds more and more member by different products or services and perhaps people by different thinking and view. And reasonably community prefers to add the person who did something really good for community. If community add corrupted person hurts itself.
There is no way to fraud. Why? Because unlike the current communities, political regimes or countries and territories, every member of the society can leave it with no cost. simply by not validate the community's money and not accepting it.
Now just imagine there are hundreds different communities that everyone has it’s own money. Inevitably we will have exchange rate between currencies. There will be high valued money and low valued money. People simply tries to get rid of the cheap money of a dictator society, or the corrupted society in return of accumulating high valued coins. They willingly accept the coin of society in which they believed in, and refuse the coins of corrupted societies. Again supply and demand rule increase the good money’s value.
You got the point! Money is speech. No need to argue, quarrel or fight. No need to war.
Of course in reality it will not that easy but it is achievable.
Maybe it is time to go back and read 3 links before continue,
Some questions you may ask:
How community governs the money(wealth) distribution?
Actually there is not a single entity or organization to be able to answer to this question. There is also the problem of “what you think is good, is not what I think is good”. The only solution is voting. Voting for every single decision*.* Is it feasible? In old classical human interaction it was too costly and nearly impossible, but with internet and blockchain technology it is absolutely possible.
Every society decides how to distribute and re-distribute money. If they failed, people will change the community’s coins with another community’s coins.
How much costs establishing a new community?
Short answer: Near zero.
Since all we need is a software and personal computers, everyone can establish a new society in a couple of hours. A new society means simply a new network of computers of people that believed in new idea. Just configure the program and launch it. The software is absolutely open, free and decentralized. No authority or government can shut it down or cease it. No censorship can be applied. even in powerful tyranny states.
What are the imagine’s benefits?
- Aggregate and amplifying all effort of small groups of people in an instant democracy model.
- Enhancing necessary tools of information era for mass. Such as messengers and social networks.
- Introducing a popular pervasive medium of exchange and store of value.
**What are differences between “**imagine” and hundred altcoins in market?
- No ICO, No IPO, No exchanges: No one bought Bitcoin from Satoshi, nor from a company or corporation. Early people mined Bitcoin, because of their willingness to have an open, peer-to-peer money. It was the success secret of Bitcoin as well as “imagine”.
- Real Decentralization: every project claims it is decentralized but they are not.
- Functionality, Usability & Applicability: imagine starts addressing real problem in real world. It is not designed for speculation or gambling.
- I dedicated almost 2 years to develop the software, not because of profit, but for human prosperity. The software has no restriction, and everybody in the world can run it, modify it and redistribute it and make a new blockgraph and new coin. So you do not need buy new coins, just do something good for the world and accumulate it. Or buy the coins when you are sure the coin’s community is standing for your believes. sorry, there is no place for greedy speculators.
- The software is free & open and will be free & open forever, so you can read and audit the code. Although the blockchain concept is a little complicated but the language is intentionally java script to ease joining more developer to develop and improve it.
- imagine’s motto: if something is good enough for a company’s benefit, probably it is good enough for the world's benefit, so let implement it for ALL. That’s why I implemented some limited smart contracts for DeFi on top of imagine’s core. They are essential functionalities of financial activity such as loan, lending and borrowing, collateral and credit(in a real definition and not what the fractional-reserve-systems construes). They are implemented to empower mass to cover their financial needs in order to Needless of any kind of banking. Saying that, we always can add more smart contract as new plugins on top of imagine’s core. We just need to find enough good and general use cases.
How can I earn PAIs (imagine network coin)?
As I mentioned before, you should not buy this coin until it matured and make you sure it is what you believed in. instead you can contribute the project and get shares and voting rights and steady income (directly to your wallet) for next 7 years.
How can I contribute in imagine?
It is pretty easy.
- You install software and run your node(you need a computer).
- Browse the to-do-list.
- Chose one of them and accomplish a task.
- Be a share holder.
What are the tasks?
There is a long list of issues you can do. Edit or translate texts, documents. Design, develop and debug software. providing educational content(text, video, audio). Even proposing new ideas and discussing grants shares. there is no limitation for creativity and innovation.
I think I explained the project essentials.
