Features of decentralization in UMI 🛡

📌 Since decentralized cryptocurrency implies that technically there can be no "trust", we secured our blockchain so that trusted masters cannot harm the network even in the event of sabotage or collusion. This can happen in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on PoW and PoS if, for example, several large mining pools combine and carry out a 51% attack.

But not in UMI☝️

📌 Firstly, the maximum that unscrupulous owners of master nodes can do is to slow down the network a little. But the UMI network automatically reacts to this and bans such nodes. Thus, if a partner wants to purposefully harm the network, other masters will not allow it.

📌 Moreover, he will not be able to do this, even if he enlists the support of most other partners. And nothing will help attackers - not even quantum computers. We talked about this in detail in our article on the six security levels of the UMI blockchain at the link: https://blog.umi.top/?p=1763
