Thoughts on 1993 collector’s edition CE /IE cards?

The CE and IE cards were very popular for old school mtg, reaching a peak during covid era, and possibly boosted by the Bitcoin boom.

However the announcement and release of M30 had seen a significant dip in demand and market price of CE/IE. The belief that RL cards previously thought to be “never” printed in any medium has been shaken, impacting the collectibility and financial aspect of CE/IE.

Currently, demand perhaps stem from collectors who appreciates the history and cards, where some would argue retains the vintage aesthetics that is difficult to replicate in modern mtg cards. Players also use them in old school events, especially the power 9, and are also used in vintage events which allow proxies. In addition, some edh players also uses the dual lands and cards like wheel of fortune in their kitchen table play.

What are your thoughts of these cards moving ahead?
