Digital Currency Election GuideNext Tuesday is Election Day in the United States. Where do the top candidates stand on digital currency?
Only three candidates will appear on every ballot, and a fourth (Hawkins) will be on enough ballots to potentially win. The candidates are listed alphabetically.
Joe Biden: Biden has no formal position on digital currency, other than stating he doesn't own any after his Twitter account was hacked in a bitcoin scam. Members of Biden's Democratic Party have led the charge in Congress to regulate and control digital currencies. Rating: 1 Star. *

Howie Hawkins: The Green Party nominee has called for creating a Monetary Authority that would absorb the Federal Reserve and socialize banks to "create all national currency (cash and electronic)." It is admirable that his platform acknowledges electronic currency, but his plan is very far from being decentralized or private. The Green Party advocates high taxes on everything, including new taxes on cryptocurrencies. Rating: Zero Stars.

Jo Jorgensen: The Libertarian nominee is the only major candidate to openly discuss her support for digital currencies and is the only one accepting digital currency donations. Her party's platform is the only one that embraces digital currencies. Rating 4 Stars. ****

RAIDAtech membership offering oversubscribedThe second crowdfund offering for RAIDAtech, the company developing new applications for patented RAIDA protocols, exceeded the $535,000 limit within a week, and is now oversubscribed.
Crowdfunding rules require the offering to be open for 21 days, even after the limit has been reached. Investor funds are held in escrow while clearing the AML/KYC process. Once the limit of $535,000 is reached for cleared funds, the remaining funds, if any, will be refunded. The escrow company plans to begin finalizing investments within a week.
Investors will receive membership units valued at $1.58 per unit at the discounted price of $1.00 and a premium bonus of 100 CloudCoins per each unit purchased.
RAIDAtech was valued by Equidam at $15.8 million, up from $10.7 million 16 months ago, following official issuance of its patent and positive earnings.📷

RAIDA Detection Agent program to be enhancedThere are big changes coming for the RAIDA Detection Agent program.
Operators of a new "Enhanced Detection Agent" option will not only make the RAIDA network stronger, faster, and more secure, they can also act as cloud storage servers to facilitate programs such as RAIDA DATA and RAIDA MAIL that are being implemented. The enhanced agents will have different hardware and programming.
Applications for new Detection Agents are currently on hold as the enhanced storage option is tested and fine-tuned, but to be added to the wait list, you can [email](mailto:solutions@raidatech.com) here and be among the first to receive information once the new option is implemented.
Detection Agent operators earn a portion of network traffic revenues, as well as a bonus paid in CloudCoins. The storage server operators will have additional incentives. Be advised, however, there are a limited number of special "Founders" opportunities available and there are now several clients ready to create traffic on the DA network.

Happy Birthday Mitch KaporThis Sunday, Nov. 1 will be the 70th birthday of software pioneer, digital freedom advocate and venture capitalist Mitch Kapor.
Kapor founded Lotus in 1982 and was one of the creators of Lotus 1-2-3, which ruled business software for much of the 1980s. Kapor went on to fund numerous tech startups through Kapor Capital and serve as the first chair of Mozilla.
Kapor is the co-founder of the Electronic Freedom Foundation. EFF is a staunch and and effective advocate of protecting online privacy, free speech and innovation.📷
