In order to buy bitcoin I signed up on coinbase, which required a picture of my govt ID. Suppose I were to transfer those BTC to bitpay and bought something illegal off the darkweb. Would the bitcoins then be traceable to me? Sry I’m still learning how exactly cryptocurrency works.
If it is traceable, is there a guide somewhere about paying for stuff with bitcoin in a manner that is not traceable?
