1: Set up a fake profile. Set up a few at a time, start them off as normal accounts with what looks like a normal person, act on it for a while, 5-6 posts a week minimum for at least a month or two. Then, once you have some history on it, change it to your pedo-bait. Make the age between 12-16. Try to create your own photos, photoshopping one face onto another, reversing the image, and making sure that they cant just do a reverse image search and find the original. This is the hardest and longest part.Make sure that the account looks like someone that they can take advantage of. Act meek at times, and place fake events such as family members or a pet dying.
2: Now you need proof they are a pedo. The best thing to do here is bait them into asking for nudes or sexual acts. At this point you have 2 options, If they ask for nudes, send an IP logger a link which you put through a link shortener to disguise it. While I prefer to not give pedos more wank material, I don't want to show my hand to early, so just find some porn actor who looks underaged, and use that, make sure to photoshop the right face and find the right body type as your previous posts.
3a: If they fell for the link, you now have their IP address, which can give you their general location. Make sure to put it through a program to detect if it is a VPN before you confront them. Most of the time you only get the city, if you are extremely lucky, the neighborhood. But this is enough to get the more easily scared pedos. Proceed to step 4.
3b: They fell for the link, but you have too broad an area to confirm anything. Continue gathering misc bits of info, since you have a general area, you can narrow down things a lot. If they sent photos (yuck), check for things in the background that might give anything away. Once you have more solid bits of info, confront them, and proceed to step 4.
3c: If they don't fall for the link then you continue and try to get any other personal info from them. Ask them a place to meet up. This is where you can go to the option of many other pedo hunters. Get a buddy, bring a gun or bat, confront them, and tell them to either pay in cash or crypto, and make sure you film their face and take screenshots for blackmail. If this works, great, proceed to step 4. If it doesn't you are shit out of luck on getting money, and turn them over to police.
If you haven't noticed, I prefer to do as much as possible online. I do this because its easier to get caught IRL.
4: Finally.... the cashout. Have them send it online as a cryptocurrency. DO NOT HAVE THEM PAYPAL YOU, they can call a chargeback and get you arrested on blackmail, and they can get away scott free if they can hide evidence fast enough. The crypto they send you does not matter. Just make sure it is the right amount. Once you have that in a online wallet. Exchange it to private coin, and move it to a hardware wallet. Do not use bitcoin or any other coin that has public transactions. In fact go as far as possible on security. Use Monero or Dash's private send feature. While it does increase the price by sending it again, hey.... its someone else's money.
How much money you demand is up to you. Often I try to gauge how much money the pedo has look at the photo background, look for windows, . The largest I have ever gotten away with was 12k from a pedo, though most end up around 2-3k. Now its up to you to launder it to look legit.
TF2 hat trading (and other games) are surprisingly good money laundering techniques if you go from crypto --> hats/game items. Lurk on some discord servers, engage, don't look too sketchy. Find a trusted broker, then sell the crypto for hats/items and cash out with paypal after a few weeks. If you play the ingame market right, you can sometimes not make a loss on laundering it.
