How common are EMPs from solar flairs? Could they do damage or destroy crypto ledgers? If so, how big would they need to be? Also, would a similar event do damage to other existing financial institutions or would there be offline backups or something?
I'm not trying to be a doomsayer or anything, I guess if a solar flair took out that many electronics bitcoin prices probably wouldn't be that important anymore. But just as a question of store of value I thought its an interesting thing to think about. How damaged would the internet be to destroy cryptos? And how likely could that actually happen?
