#roadto50: LET’S MAKE SOME NOISE

#roadto50 is an exciting movement that every passionate DFI FAN wishes to become a reality, whereas IN REALITY it will require an enormous amount of effort from the COMMUNITY to make this dream of every #DFIHOODLER a reality. This CFP #roadto50 intends to create virality from this movement on social media by activating DeFiChain’s most valuable asset –– its COMMUNITY !!

In order to achieve that, we plan to organise a DFI social media competitions, providing financial incentives for the community to become more active on Twitter and Instagram. Every true #DFIHOODLER can participate and WIN big: We want to pay out in TOTAL 5,000 DFI in five consecutive competitions over the next five months. In each competition a total of 1000 DFI will be paid out. For participation you can win $50 for the most engaging written posts, $100 for the most engaging pictures/ graphics/ graphs and $150 for the most engaging videos/ animation content.

The first competition will start on the  01.12.2021, celebrating the launch of stock token trading on DeFiChain and will end on the 21st of December. The winners will be announced on the 24th of December. The above mentioned DFI amounts will be paid out shortly after the winners have been announced. As a result, a total of 5,000 DFI will be paid out to the community over the next five moths. The first pay out of 1000 DFI will occur on Christmas. The higher the DFI price the more people will enjoy an even sweeter Christmas receiving $50, $100 or $150. Note that if we manage to get DFI to $50 in total an astonishing $250,000 will be paid out to the community and up to 5,000 people could win $50 - sounds incredible to me. So LET’S MAKE SOME NOISE !!

DON’T FORGET the launch of stock tokens marks the MOST IMPORTANT EVENT ever for DeFiChain !! If we don’t go ALL-IN on marketing NOW, we will NEVER have such an opportunity again !!!

Participation is really easy: either create a written post, create a graphic/ graph or make a video/ animation around the topic: why do you believe in #roadto50? If you are not the most creative person out there, but would still like to participate, then we’d like to give you  some inspirational help. The following suggestions are just examples and there are no rules or guidelines on how your content could look like. Feel free to take the following suggestions as a starting point and unleash your creativity:

  1. Why are you a true #DFIHOODLER?
  2. Why will DFI go to $50  #roadto50?
  3. Why do you believe in #NativeDefi for Bitcoin?
  4. What are your positive experiences with DeFiChain?

On December 24th we will for the first time reach out to the #roadto50 content creators whose content had the highest engagement rates. Shortly thereafter the DFI will be paid out.  

Most importantly; there are no rules/ limits or whatsoever. We do not want to limit the creative process, and as such we proactively recommend creating as MUCH NOISE as possible to get your message seen/heard by as many people as possible.

Don’t forget, the whole purpose of this CFP is to promote #roadto50 and let it go viral on social media and to demonstrate the strength of the DeFiChain community. In other Words: LET’S MAKE SOME NOISE !! 

If this CFP will be approved by the community, the competition will immediately start thereafter We will not waste valuable time towards achieving our #roadto50 goals..

DeFiChain Promo — January to June 2022

Describe the purpose

Hey guys,

My name is Jeff, and I am a 33-year-old married family father who is currently working as a software developer.

We launched DeFiChain Promo five months ago during a time when the whole alt coin market was trending sideways. As a result, social media activity was quite underwhelming and DeFiChain did not get the exposure it deserved.

We tried to change that and made it our business to promote DeFiChain on Twitter by rewarding people for their efforts.

Our "Community incentive program" (CIP)has been a complete success so far.

To give you some numbers:

  • 1300+ Tweets & Media Elements uploaded
  • 800+ registered users
  • 1800+ Twitter followers
  • Over 500,000 (Half a million) page views on our website
  • 200,000 distributed promo points to our CIP-attendends

The numbers speak for itself, and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together as a community over the last few months.

Just to visualize what it means in terms of twitter activity: Here, you can clearly see the impact of the CIP.

Even though the above numbers are quite strong, we had to deal with some initial difficulties. The incentive program was overall working well, but it had one small problem: Many people used the CIP solely for the DFI reward and spammed the Feeds rather than pushing qualitative DeFiChain content. We invested in our own shortcomings and did our homework and were able to deliver an overall better, fine-tuned algorithm and new features such as the whitelisting process, which turned out to be a tremendous success.

What’s the goal of this CFP?

In this CFP, we are asking the DeFiChain community for their votes regarding our ambitious plans for the first half of 2022.

In 2022, we would like to shift our focus away from the sole CIP towards a “CIP + Additional promotion!” narrative.:So far, we have used 100% of the funds we have received in our first CFP to run the CIP.

Since we are already quite a large community, we no longer see the need to run the CIP to the extent we currently do. However, we would like to continue to run the CIP, but also use some of the funds for other promotional activities (see below).

Hence, DeFiChain Promo would like to change the focus from "CIP only" to "CIP + Additional promotion!" starting in early 2022.

It’s very important to properly plan promotions and the associated budget, especially in a bull market.

We, as the DeFiCahain community, have the community fund, which should be used to push DeFiChain forward.

This is crucial, especially in this time of the crypto bull cycle. Hence, we would like to do our utmost to help DeFiChain succeed and go towards the moon.

How will the fund be spent?

2,500 DFI for the community incentive program:

As stated above, we'd like to keep the incentive program running. People like it, and receiving DFIs as an incentive for pushing DeFiChain content also attracts new users to the ecosystem.

Due to the rising DFI price, we'll adjust the amount of distributed DFI accordingly.

It is planned to distribute a total of 2,500 DFI to the CIP participants in the first half of 2022.

4,000 DFI for other promotion activities:

We're expecting a remaining strong Q4 and Q1 2022 with Bitcoin leading to new all-time highs. That’s why it is utterly important to increase the marketing effort. We’d like to extend our reach by reserving some funds for the following marketing initiatives:

  • Pushing the DeFiChain ecosystem and grab opportunities as they come
    • In the past 6 months, we have often been in a situation where we have seen a good opportunity to make promotion for DeFiChain. Just to name a few:
      • Possible influencer shoutouts
      • A giveaway on special occasions at the right time.
      • Giving people up to 10$ in DFI on top for their first purchase over at DFX.swiss
      • etc.
    • But since all the DFI from our first proposal are reserved for the CIP, we have not had a chance to catch on those opportunities. Therefore, a part of this 4.000 DFI will be used to grab opportunities as they come. Since I don't know when or how often these opportunities will arise, I can't budget a set amount for this.
  • Pushing other community projects
    • We’re slowly but steadily building up the DeFiChain-Promo Twitter account. The DeFiChain promo account is growing slowly but steadily. Our plan is to regularly do small DFI giveaways to push other community projects that deserve more visibility forward. This will help to increase the reach within but also outside of the bubble. We just did that with defilinks io for example (https://twitter.com/DeFiChainPromo/status/1457697811127062528).
    • This not only pushes other community projects forward, but also the DeFiChain promo Twitter account. This means that the impact of the individual "pushes" increases over time.
  • Starting promotion campaigns
    • As we mentioned above, we want to shift away from “CIP only” to “CIP + promotions”. The goal of those promotions is to tighten the community and attract new users as well.
    • To put it a little more clearly: Our first promo action is a Christmas promo action and will start regardless of the outcome of this CFP's on November 18.
    • Over the next 6 months, from January to June 2022, promotions such as the Christmas promo, will appear regularly on certain events.
    • Even “smaller campaigns” like the who-to-follow section will help to grow the community https://defichain-promo.com/who-to-follow (distribution of knowledge is key)
    • Gleam.io campaigns
      • Here a few examples for what a gleam.io campaign could be used:
    • Another Idea for a promotion campaign is: A live hosted tournament occasionally:
      • Let’s take “chess” as an example: I’d love to plan and organize a live hosted tournament on YouTube and/or twitch. The entire tournament could be streamed and commented by a professional. The price pool could be around 200 DFI. Since this will be a public tournament, even people outside our DeFiChain bubble can take part. This in combination with the professionals/commentors reach could lead new people into our beautiful ecosystem.
    • Important: These are all ideas I have in my mind right now. I surely will not implement every one of those ideas. But this is a rough guideline for what the funds will be used to boost the DeFiChain ecosystem.

3,500 DFI will be used to cover all associated costs with operating DeFiChain Promo:

Operating DeFiChain Promo is pretty time-consuming and a lot of things are happening behind the curtains like:.

  • CIP and website related stuff
    • Reviewing whitelisting applications
      • Each registration for the CIP is reviewed manually to conquer the spam we saw in the very beginning of DeFiChain-Promo. Going through the whitelisting-questions and evaluating the answers is a pretty time-consuming task. We currently have over 800 registered users.
    • Doing the actual payouts
      • Every requested payout is a manual job. When taking into account, that a CIP round lasts for 2 weeks, processing each payout individually is a lot of work.
    • Planning, organizing and executing the CIP
      • Of course, each round of the CIP needs to be planned and organized. The CIP is not an automatic process and requires manual adjustments for each round.
    • Looking through uploaded tweets and media elements
      • When it comes to maintaining the website, newly uploaded tweets and media elements need to get reviewed and released in order to appear on the website.
    • Regular Backups
      • Since the CIP deals with “real money”, we need to make sure we have regular backups in case something happened.
  • Planning, organizing and executing of promotion campaigns
    • This is the part where the most of the time will be spent on. Next to the CIP we’d like to do other promotion campaigns as well.
    • For example, have a look at the Christmas campaign, coming on 18. November

    • I’m planning a lot more of those promo campaigns, like the campaign for Christmas.
    • All those campaigns are connected with time + organizing + executing + evaluating which is pretty time-consuming
  • Running costs

All these tasks are not only time-consuming, but we also have to pay for them. Hence, we would like to reserve some DFI for associated costs stemming from running the service.

As you can see, the overall costs are round about $30.000 and does not even nearly come close to the worth of requested 3.500 DFI (~$12.000).

I know that 3.500DFI is a pretty small amount for the amount of time, efforts and energy put into the project. But since my goal is NOT to make as much money as possible out of the CFP but rather to make a significant impact and push the DeFiChain forwards in the long run, I’m totally fine with that.

Just to make it clear:

Every unspent DFI from the requested 6500 DFI for promotion activities will either be taken over or burned in June 2022 with the new CFP for the second half of 2022 (Up to the community)

How does this CFP benefit the DeFiChain community?

Promoting a project is important, especially in the current market climate.

I'm personally burning for the DeFiChain project and want to give my heart and my soul to it to see it thrive.

From this CFP, the DeFiChain community gets an immense added value delivered through promotions.

Not only does DeFiChain promo bring new people to the ecosystem, but it also connects and brings the community together.

Promo campaigns bind users to the project, making it easier and better for them to identify themselves with the project.

We all want to see DeFiChain on the moon and the best part to achieve this is via dedicated promotions

WHY IM STILL SUPER BULLISH ON RUSS/ SAITAMA REGARDLESS OF THE SHITSHOW LIVE STREAM!! ITS LONG BUT ITLL ADD SOME PERSPECTIVE!!

Russ is a business man with his numbers he’s not an event planner this is his first time doing anything with crypto so there’s obviously gonna be slips along the way! Literally all major cryptos or any altcoins are made by crypto professionals that know how crypto works such as shiba was made by an engineer that made etherum and many other alt coins that had engineers from other big crypto currency’s but what I like about russ is that he’s the under dog with no marketing experience and no experience whatsoever in crypto and he’s been talking a lot about the future of saitama and with him and his small crew they’ve already made an app that’s gonna be revolutionary and it’s not just that it’s the fact that all of this is coming from the new kid on the block yea the live stream had no mind blowing info but we’re getting our own god damn block chain and 6% stake plus 2% reflections like he’s really out here doing everything he can and KEEP IN MIND HES DOING THIS ON HIS OWN DIME/TIME he’s doing Interviews with YouTubers with 5k-500k subs and that’s what i like about him he doesn’t put himself above anyone else and he’s a literal millionaire that doesn’t need all of this stress doing interviews for hours ever day!! When i first got in Saitama i was in for the gains and I started hearing Russ’s interviews and this is a literal crypto revolution and SOMEONE IMPORTANT THAT EVERYONE OVERLOOKS IS he’s man enough to show his face from the very start which means he believes in the project form the very start so I’ll be by his side Diamond handing this through the -80% days and the 10000% and that’s just the nature of crypto too how Bitcoin literally dropped from 65k to 28k in a matter of days cause cause china banned crypto mining and then look at it now back making a new ATH after a couple of months after people realized it was an over reaction and whales selling so crypto is not for you If you can’t handle the volatility! A little side note PLEASE PEOPLE take just a minute to go see apples very first event it’s super cringy but they take what worked and build on it and take out what didn’t work! Now watch apples most recent event it’s like a Tripple A movie! And I’ll leave it on this dogecoin was the first meme crypto currency’ that led way for all these other meme coins that die off quick! Shiba was supposed to be Doge but with actual utilities other than just used as a payment method like doge but it’s been over a year and the only thing they’ve released from what they promised is NFT’S and shiba swap which was cool at first

But it only works with shib token, And it’s claim to fame was being the doge coin killer and it passed it for a week and it died down! Shiba can have a lot potential but we don’t know the real identities and names of the creators and they don’t update on what they plan on doing with shib and what’s going on with all of their promises but Saitama is literally releasing An app not just to swap tokens but it’s whole market place 6 MONTHS SINCE THE COIN RELEASED and the fact that Russ is always willing to listen and we have s face we can connect to Saitama and he’s always willing to listen is why I’m so bullish on this coin !!! THE WOLF PACK IS A CRYPTO REVOLUTION CAN I GET A HOWL IN THE COMMENTS? 🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺I love and am proud to be part of the wolf pack 💪💪💪 just remember it’s crypto so buckle your seat belts is gonna be a bumpy ride!! We just witnessed history last night folks this was the first time there’s ever been a crypto release event live in person so Russ Is bringing new people interested to the crypto market in general not just Saitama!!! Who agrees with me that Russ is just a different kind of leader he’s a different approach to crypto and I’d rather have him behind this project than any famous engineers that worked on big projects like Bitcoin and ETH! Save this post I guarantee Saitma will be the top 3 or at least 5 cryptos in 10 years! We have the holy trinity Bitcoin is the store of value(Crypto gold), ETH will basically be the motherboards of crypto and they’re both too valuable to just use to pay as a tip IRL so in comes Saitama it’ll be what we use as an every day coin beyond just payments! They even said well be able to use it for Metaverse and that’s just for now but it’s still insane the possibilities are only limited by Russ’s willingness to keep working on it!! Please tell me I’m not the only one that sees the potential?? I’ve never been so bullish on anything in my life they’re gonna be more impactful than Apple was When they released the first touch screen phone considering all other phones at the time were flip phones but people played it off as a fad but they were just beyond their time! Same thing with Tesla when they came out with the first electric vehicles that look Good considering all cars that were electric were hybrids and the only fully electric car when they Tesla released their first car was the pruis lol but again they beyond their time and passed off as a fad and joke but that’s what saitama is not just the coin but Russ too is the elon or the Steve Jobs of Crypto but crypto is still relatively new Bitcoin came out in 2009 and only got hype because it was the very first crypto and people associated it with just the black market and paying for torture rooms and Bitcoin had that stigma till like literally the past few years so people were weary on buying digital money then ETH came in and opened peoples mind to the true potential of crypto and Saitama is will definitely be part of crypto history with eth and Bitcoin but people pass it off as Russ having too big Of dreams and some people don’t take him seriously since he’s the new guy to the crypto space with no expensive and a small team and with all the sudden surge of all these scam coins that are failed promises even the most recent one shiba they left the project halfway done but so far he’s been transparent and putting in work thats taking away real time from his personal life! I’ve never written so much not even in school but i see the real potential in this!! Can i get some opinions??

And like I said whenever a company does something for the first time there’s bound to be stuff wrong with it the first IPhones Apple store had like 5 apps and was super buggy, the first Tesla released literally had a horrible battery that barely lasted a day and it was full of bugs! But most importantly what Elon, steve jobs and Russ have in common is they all truly believed in their projects and money was Just a side effect of their passion cause they all truly believe their products can change/help humanity!
