• Tokodot, a simplified asset creation platform, is the latest recipient of an Algorand Foundation Grant: Having launched the Algorand Foundation Grant Program last year, we have received many submissions from developers and innovators globally who have been eager to participate and grow the Algorand ecosystem. After thorough review and selection, we are delighted to announce that Tokodot is the latest Grant recipient.
• Algomint will make Bitcoin Carbon Negative partnering with Algorand Foundation and Nettle: Algomint have announced their commitment and intention to ensure that every Bitcoin coming to Algorand through the Algomint bridging platform will be net carbon negative. This will be facilitated through a partnership with the Algorand Foundation and Nettle, an ecosystem of Dapps for doing good built on Algorand, who are providing assistance to many global entities for similar carbon negative initiatives. To achieve this Algomint will use Nettle to neutralise the carbon emissions created by the Bitcoin minting process with minted GoBTC assets, allowing them to then enjoy carbon neutrality which is native to the Algorand network.
• Algorand Foundation Awards Large Scale Grant to AID:TECH — To Develop Digital Identity Protocol and Launch a New Integrated Wallet in Partnership with Womens World Banking: The Algorand Foundation and AID:Tech have partnered for the creation of an Algorand native, digital identity protocol together with a digital wallet, designed to promote financial inclusion.
• Algorand Foundation partners with Plandail to provide a complete ecosystem for ESG impact entrepreneurs: Having launched the Algorand Foundation Grant Program last year, we have received many submissions from developers and innovators globally who have been eager to participate and grow the Algorand ecosystem.
• New Algorand Relay Node Running Pilot now Live: The Algorand Foundation is excited to announce that the pilot Relay Node Running program is now live. This pilot is the first step on the path to bring Relay Nodes to the same level of full decentralisation as the Algorand blockchain’s consensus participation nodes.
