I have been supporting POW change if honest miners fail to defend the honest chain. You guys are downvoting me, i get it is controversial, but i have not seen any good reason why besides "it is not bitcoin anymore" argument which don't think has value. What is your definition of bitcoin? Most POW SHA256 chain is BTC. This argument makes BTC more bitcoin which i don't think is right.
I think deep down we all want flippenning, since same algo will help flippenning event, this is the real reason everybody don't want it. I don't think we will ever get to reach flippenning with centralized mining.
