The original post's content was as follows:

As I am getting married next weekend, I would like to record this event for eternity. The only sensible place seems to be some immutable record like Bitcoin's blockchain.

Now I have a public address that I published https://raquelandmartin.000webhostapp.com

My current plan is to just use OP_Return to embed our names and the place, which should be sufficient as the block height is as good a time stamp as it gets.

Now there are a few problems. First, there is no easy service to do this any more, cryptograffiti isn't working anymore and I have not found a convenient alternative.

This leads me also to believe that it may be not a good idea in the first place. In fact, the Bitcoin Wiki even suggests that it maybe "irresponsible" to use OP_Return for this purpose (https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/OP_RETURN).

If Bitcoin is not the right place to record such vital information such as birth, marriage and death, what would be a good alternative, Ethereum?
