Once upon a time in South Korea, there lived a cartoonist named Ju Ho-min. He's known for awesome storytelling and detailed character profiles, and is one of the most influential cartoonist in this timeline.
However, a certain jinx seems to follow him. He seems to demolish wherever he shows up at. Let me tell you about couple of his accomplishments.
- He majored in Animation in a junior college. He took a leave of absence. When he tried to come back, his major was removed from college programs.
- He worked part-time at a Carrefour, one of the biggest supermarkets in Korea during that time. He quit Carrefour, which started the downfall of Carrefour Korea.
- 3cf, his first online platform he published at, blew up shortly after and scattered.
- Another one of his publishers, Yahoo Korea, stopped its Korean service.
- He participated in a project drawing wall paintings on a public art museum. The museum was later dismantled.
- His army regiment was disbanded shortly after his discharge.
- He visited a public library in 2015. A fire broke out.
- His favorite car was a Volkswagen Zetta 6th generation 1.6 TDI Blue Motion Technology. He later sold it to his brother. Just after that, DieselGate happened.
- He used to drive a GM Daewoo Matiz. Few years later, the GM Daewoo was acquired by Chevrolet, and Matiz model was renamed to Spark.
- A fried chicken restaurant ceased to exist after his visit.
- A local mart shut down after he bought diapers a few times.
- He published cartoons on NCSoft's blogs and was given NC Dinos baseball team franchise items, such as hats and jerseys. That year, NC failed to make the Korean Series(World Series equivalent). When he ended is serial in 2016, Korean Baseball League blew up with match fixing scandals.
- He bought a place to start his own family. A housing land development plan was in queue so he had all expectations of its value rising. However, some Baekjae artifacts were found while doing ground work, and all plans were scrapped to preserve the artifacts.
- He was asked to participated in Galaxy Note7 launching event. He later declined, but the damage was done. Galaxy Note7's life ended in mere 54 days.
- A national scandal occurred on October 2016 at Blue House (White House equivalent), which later led to the impeachment of President Park Geun-hye. Ju Ho-min later said he visited the Blue House just few weeks before the scandal rose.
- He twitted a Vulcan salute. It nearly destroyed Star Trek: Discovery.
- He appeared in an online live broadcast show, which was streamed via Daum Pot TV platform. This platform was destroyed on February 2017. It was later streamed by Kakao TV, which had too many glitches for a major TV show.
- He mentioned something about HTC Vive's VR division. HTC was later reported considering spinning of Vive VR.
- He twitted about the Korea SAT. The exam was postponed due to earthquake.
- He mentioned something about purchasing Bitcoins. Three days later, the Bitcoin price dropped from USD 2500 to 1600.
- He visited Kyoto in March 2018. The city was flooded from heavy rain on July 2018.
- He visited Taiwan on July 5, 2018. Typhoon Maria was predicted to come straight to the Korean Peninsula. However, on July 9, 2018, Maria swerved and struck Taiwan instead.
