I have spent the best part of six months now researching crypto assets. My thoughts:
1 - Bitcoin will always remain pivotal and as a store of value, will be unparalleled for the rest of civilisation.
2 - People talk of the MySpace of Crypto, I believe this will be Ethereum.
3 - COVID has accelerated the crypto programme by twenty years.
4 - The future of finance was always going to evolve as Fiat currencies were doomed to always fail from day 1. Again, this failing has just been accelerated by about 100yrs due to events since 2008.
5 - Timing is everything and ALGORAND timing of entry to the market will be referred back to by many. I think ALGO was always destined to be a success, but it’s timing has been both lucky and impeccable.
6 - The leader Silvio and his team are going to be the most respected Crypto team from the outside world looking in by far.
7 - Some will question the governance and government and country use of ALGO, as it may look like losing decentralisation. However in fact, I believe that gaining country and government approval (whilst remaining decentralised but truthful and legal and open book to authorities) will be the final piece of the perfect jigsaw.
8 - The price of ALGO will rise considerably but in a controlled manner also which will build reliance.
9 - The eventual team that ALGO puts together will provide the benchmark.
10 - the community and backers will be some of the most intelligent retail crypto enthusiasts. You can see that already in so many ways (even take this Reddit group which by far has the most logical and thought through posts and respect).
11 - in another ten years, quantum works will evolve and change things. However, ALGORAND will be one of the only (alongside Bitcoin) companies that has prepared for this day and in fact, use it as a benefit.
