Are hardware wallets really safe and useful? Should SB develop one?

There are different kinds of hardware wallets such as (Trezor,Ledger,KeepKey...) but are they really safe and useful? Here I will highlight some advantages:

  • They are immune to different types of computer viruses that can infect our computer and steal wallet copies
  • The configuration when using the device for the first time is very simple and guides us step by step.
  • Allows you to make backup copies.
  • It differs from paper wallets in that it is not necessary to import the keys in order to have access to the bitcoins.
  • They are usually open source, which allows the community to consult its source code and understand the operation of the device and how it implements security.
  • They allow to be protected with an additional password to prevent third parties from using it if you lose it.

What do you think? Should Swissborg develop in a future a hardware wallet that interacts with the App?
