As a proof-of-concept, crypto researcher Felix Weis at Lightning Hackday in Hong Kong tested the first Bitcoin ($BTC) ATM Lightning transaction. Weiss described the event as a proof-of-concept for topping off existing channels and that the code remains buggy.
