Clarification on terminologi of bitcoin transaction faliure

I'm writing an article for my thesis and I want to add inside it the correct information, so I have a need to comparison for a definition.

When the Transactions do failure:

I have defined the failed transaction to two types, so:

• Format transaction not valid, an example: When the transaction have a 0 input and 1 output, (false coinbase transaction build with bitcoind).
• Valid format transaction but the input inside it not is the UTXO, an example a double-spending event.

This is my definition of a failed transaction, but I want to feedback on this definition because I'm a beginner and I not want create bad information on Bitcoin
