My friend put 300 dollars in Bitcoin and made around 1800 dollars around 2 years ago. Then after a series of unfortunate events, he lost it all. Now, I think he lost 1800 dollars while he says he only lost 300 dollars because he didn't turn it into cash. I argue he used the 1800 to lose it all so therefore he lost the 1800. Help us settle this argument.
