Although the recommended size is 1TB, you can manage with 300GB HDD/SSD if you disable quicksync and electrum.
Quicksync speeds up the initial blockchain download by using a trusted source. If you already have a Bitcoin downloaded, follow the instructions: https://www.mynodebtc.com/guide/using_bitcoin_data_from_existing_node to use it for myNode.
At the time of writing, around 297GB is occupied by myNode with electrum and quicksync disabled, with the following breakup:
- 296GB Bitcoin
- 1.7GB Docker
- 99MB Lightening
