Guys how do i implement the use of Escrow?

A Market i'm buying something off uses Bitcoin Escrow?

I normally just transfer coin from Coinbase to Electrum and send it directly to the sellers

Is Escrow something different?

Do I need to make an account with escrow etc

I'd be so greatful if you could guide me through the additional steps I'd need to take after transferring to electrum

I'm very new at this
