So I see a lot of talk on price predictions for the future and I just want to get a realistic stance on the subject. Let's be hypothetical in saying by 2050 the world has shifted to using Bitcoin as it's main store of value replacing gold as the standard measurement for the wealth of a nation. I'm terrible at math and don't really know how to calculate the value Bitcoin would have in those events. Is something like that even possible? If so, what does that future look like? Would that be all Bitcoin is capable of, or do you think people will start using it for transactions as well, and would that ultimately affect the price as well?
I'm generally curious and want to have an honest discussion amongst the community about what everyone thinks the future looks like and where you wish to see Bitcoin grow to.
