Topping off our list of the best-performing altcoins is Ethereum. ETH has had a box office 2020 and, over the course of the year, it’s even managed to deliver healthier gains than the likes of Bitcoin.
There’s been a lot of excitement surrounding ETH, primarily because of the upcoming launch of Ethereum 2.0. November 24 marked a significant milestone for the debut of its transition to proof of stake, as enough most promising crypto was deposited to pave the way for the launch of the beacon chain. It’s going to be a painstaking journey (pardon the pun), but the event could prove to be a bullish event if it goes without a hitch.
It’s also shaping up to be one of the best altcoins because of how it’s going to be supported by PayPal, along with the likes of Bitcoin, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.
