How should I report only mining bitcoin on my taxes if I dont do anything with it?

I have a small amount of bitcoin, only worth a few dollars, but I also like to be neat with my taxes. I havent traded it, or cashed out, or created any taxable event but should I still at least file it? Or am I even required to?
