We’ve been researching the laws/requirements in West Virginia about selling pizzas (and/or vegan pepperoni rolls!) and are getting an idea about the kinds of licenses we’ll need.
We have a portable, wood-fired pizza oven, a perfected dough recipe, and an intense passion for starting our own small business.
Any other pizza pop-up people out here willing to share any tips, experiences, anything that you’d like to throw out there from someone just starting out? Any apps you love, or hate? Problems you’ve encountered?
We plan on taking cash, Bitcoin, and eventually cards through something like Square.
Sometimes we’ll be in remote places (like camping spots) with no internet and bad cell service, but also plan to hook up with local festivals/events/other business owners in the area. Our thoughts are, we’ll show up someplace for a day and move to another location, after we get a social media presence and following. We live in a tourist town, so there’s no shortage of spots to post up.
Keep in mind we’re doing a lot of research and are just starting out, but would love if someone with experience would be willing to steer us in the right direction or share some pointers. Thanks in advance, I hope this isn’t too vague, good vibes to you all 💕
