With last night's dip, bitcoin has lost more value in a week than the USD has lost in 18 months

Like the title said, bitcoin has lost more value in a week with no real adverse events than the USD has lost in 18 months of the worst health crisis in over a century. Edit: it's lost twice as much value in this week than the USD since March 2020.

Regardless of political opinions, can we agree that USD (and the Euro, aussie dollar and other fiats of prosperous countries) are not shitcoins and that crypto isn't currently a good replacement as an everyday currency? The only stable cryptos at the moment are stable because they're tied to fiat, which according to many is a tax law away from what we see in Lebanon.

BUT LOOK AT ITS GAINS OVER THE LAST YEAR doesn't really help out the people who need to purchase goods and services with all or nearly all of their income. As a currency, is isn't there yet.

Having said all that, DCA and hold if you can.
