Happy New Year, my fellow Shibes! Well, the big news to start off the year is that our dear Kabosu seems to have come out the other side of a rather serious illness.
She may be 17 but she's still got quite a bit of fight left in her - and I'm sure that several million people, all around the world, wishing her well didn't hurt.
I know there are no shortage of people out there right now trying to tell you how the next big bull run is just around the corner and whatnot. Twitter and social media seems like it's overflowing with crypto-guru-wannabes, all with their own secret little insight that no one else has.
In my experience, the vast majority of these folks are wrong far more often than they are right. Moreso, in the many, many years that I've been involved in crypto the most money that I have ever made has been by buying bits of DOGE when it was cheap and just sitting on it.
There definitely are more active ways to increase your coin count and I'm sure there are lots of people with ideas of exactly how exactly to do that but at the same time it all comes down to how much risk you're willing to undertake.
Either way, with a whole new year on the horizon I hope you'll walk in to 2023 taking the singular most important lesson of 2022 to heart:
Exchanges are not banks. If you value your coins, please do not treat them as such.
As the old adage goes:
"Not your keys, not your coins."
