Proposal: Bitcoin Mining Day – A Random, Community Chosen Date Every Year

👉 The date is never fixed.
👉 Each year, the community votes on a randomly selected pool of dates.

Why Random?
A predictable mining event could allow centralized players to shift or manipulate their hashrate.
By randomizing the date each year — and letting the community vote — we maintain fairness, prevent gaming, and show the power of decentralized coordination.

How It Works:

1. Each year, a shortlist of 3–5 random dates will be generated.
2. The community votes on which date will become that year’s Bitcoin Mining Day.
3. On that day, we mine. As one network. No breaks. No control.

Goal:
To remind the world that Bitcoin’s strength lies in its decentralization — and that everyone can still play a role in securing the network.
