👉 The date is never fixed.
👉 Each year, the community votes on a randomly selected pool of dates.
Why Random?
A predictable mining event could allow centralized players to shift or manipulate their hashrate.
By randomizing the date each year — and letting the community vote — we maintain fairness, prevent gaming, and show the power of decentralized coordination.
How It Works:
- Each year, a shortlist of 3–5 random dates will be generated.
- The community votes on which date will become that year’s Bitcoin Mining Day.
- On that day, we mine. As one network. No breaks. No control.
Goal:
To remind the world that Bitcoin’s strength lies in its decentralization — and that everyone can still play a role in securing the network.
