What solutions does Anarchy propose for the monetary system and money?

Hi all,

I'm already an Anarchist and primarily interested in the practical application of Anarchy as well as working towards it in reality.

As such one giant issue I see stopping any sort of non-violent social revolution is the monetary system. Specifically banks and money.

The monetary system historically speaking is a behemoth. Central banks are especially deadly and have caused many extreme economic crisis as well as real estate collapses.

How would a non-violent social revolution trying to bring about Anarchy go about this? What are your thoughts on alternative currencies such as Bitcoin? Is cash the answer? How do we escape the current monetary system?

When you think about it: Even if you incentivize others to pay in cash majorily and avoid or evade taxes as much as possible like most literature suggests what will you do if your bank accounts are confiscated or frozen? We are seeing this happen all the time in the west right now and also in many other countries. What is the answer to financial repression? All of a sudden you can't pay your rent anymore, because you're an enemy of the state once the movement gains traction.

How would an Anarchist movement fund itself? Seeing how it would be Anti-Capitalist either way how would it gain the necessary funding for the organization or movement? Administrative costs would exist either way. Transport costs for the members and so on. Speaking and events wouldn't generate a lot of income and also cost a lot to set up. Donations only get you so far. A lot of people might have trust issues concerning alternative currency.

I'm an optimist so you can convince me easily enough, but for this issue I really don't have an answer yet. Maybe a more experienced Anarchist can guide me?
