However you should also try to pick a Chimerabubu that looks good, Firefly seams like a safe pick as she will likely get another SP or two down the line when these Chimerabubus become rarer 5 or 10 years down the line.
Won't trading be stopped when the event ends?
Possibly but this can open up a great black market later on but with how well this system is doing and the fact that Hoyo has put these tickets in for paid currency could mean that when we get other events of this type, we might be able to trade legacy ones again or better yet, they make it a permanent feature.
How does it buy me a home?
Supply and demand. Right now, everyone gets one collector atleast and every Chimerabubu is just as rare as the other one. But they are time limited and as time goes by, these will become rarer and rarer unless Hoyo re-runs the event but the likelihood of that happening instead of making new versions could be slim, in addition they would likely put in new models to dilute the pool or make an entirely new pool and only give the free currency for the new ones.
Write a reminder in your calendar to check it every year on a specific date, check how much people want your Chimerabub and what the going rate is and see if you want to reap your rewards.
Good times to check Labubu market?
Honkai Nexus Anima release. The game is all about Labubus, it may have a shared interest or cross over feature then. Major patches like 5.0, 6.0 and Anniversaries drive back players.
