•  With the upcoming season (season 3), it will be possible to buy miners with any cryptocurrency available on the site. Start collecting coins now to buy better miners next season.

Notes on using Rollercoin

• All purchases from the site require RLT, which is Rollercoin's own cryptocurrency.

• You may withdraw your crypto from the site once it reaches the required quota, or deposit them to a different currency.

• You can only split power from mining crypto once every 12 hours.

• You must win at least one game per day to maintain the current level of your "PC", otherwise it will go back to the lowest level.

• The more games you win, the more difficult it is, and the longer the cooldown. On the flipside, you get a bigger score which adds to your mining power.

• You can bring down the difficulty of any game by simply not playing them for awhile. Use this to diversify the games you play and earn as much mining power as possible. 1000 FREE SATOSHI HERE

• The higher your mining power, the more crypto you can get from each completed block.

Hey, BCH guy here. I feel like Im having the crypto equivalent of a midlife crisis here, and I need guidance. Monero has been on my mind for a bit, and I need help reasoning through a few things.

So, to put it simply, I like peer to peer cash.I want to replace banks and give people tangible freedom. But privacy is also important to me. Recently I tried to cashfusion on BCH, waited all day just to find out it didnt work, something to do with the amount or utxos... I was thinking, dang, wouldn't it be nice if i didnt have to worry about this? This started my kick on thinking of Monero. I forgive BCH/Cashfusion for this, as its my fault, it was just the type of inconvenience that made me really stop and think about the advantage dynamic at play.

So Ive had some things on my mind, arguments for and against Monero, and im trying to make sense of it. I need help figuring out what is what so i can begin the process of weighing my choices here. I like both BCH and XMR, or at least I say I do, but i hate the mental overhead of worrying about two different money systems, so wondering what fills the top spot in my mind feels like a big deal, to me personally.

Before I continue I will point out theres many in BCH who do not like me, especially in rbtc, and its because Ive hopped around in crypto land a few times trying to figure it out and figure myself out, and getting in too many unnecessary fights with others looking for them (this is the internet after all, and I am naive to not think im not naive), but this does not bother me so much anymore, as I also have my fair share of friends in BCH and I see myself as a future value contributing actor as I approach my dream of being a software engineet closer and closer everyday. All that to say if i get any of those comments here I will try to ignore them.

So heres my thought process so far.

Advantages of Monero, over Bitcoin Cash:

1) Its actually private, its fully private, and if a normie friend uses it they will be private too

This isn't necessarily the reason that stands out in my mind the strongest, I personally see privacy as a facet of a good money rather than the core characteristic... But its definitely not insignificant, and it deserves the top of the list.

2) Automatic Blocksize?

I dont actually know how this works, and would like verification from someone on this. But i LOVE the idea of automatic blocksize limits. The problem with BTC that created BCH in the first place was the blocksize limit, and to me its irritating that despite it, it was not even removed from BCH, just increased and modified. I think its a tenet of centralization for developers to merely promise to change some parameter later, and after seeing what happened to BTC im scared to acceot a reality where that hardcoded limit is not burned with fire. So if Monero has done this in its own way and responsibly, this could be a huge reason for me to want to switch over.

3) Decentralized Mining?

So is it true i can somewhat easily mine monero on my laptop, at least exponentially easier than BCH and BTC? This is meaningful in my opinion, seeing as how the mining hashpower on the bitcoin networks has cartelized quite a bit.

4) Brand Strength

When I talk about Bitcoin Cash, to some extent, i feel like im shilling. I feel like im reeing into the void about how BTC is wrong and BCH is right and nobody cares. But when i talk about Monero... I feel foundationally strong. Like i can shill this to a friend and it doesnt feel like shilling, it feels like responsible advice. I understand this is somehow entirely psychological and probably specific to me, but i think theres a profound brand strength with Monero that could really boost its afoption from here if events play out well.

Some Concerns I have about Monero

1) Adoption Unreadiness?"

When i first started learning about Monero, years ago, i tried to install a node and failed, as it took too long to sync the blockchain. I didnt know how else to use it so i gave up. Fast forward years later, I tried again with a wallet but it made me select my own node, and I remember the UX was just weird... Im wondering if this has changed at all and if Monero is closer to being adoption ready? Can i jump into it and immediately start using it?

2) Disappearing balances

I remember using monero before and every time i send or receive my balance would go back to pending. I strongly disliked this and thought it took control of my money away from me. But someone told me there was a change coming in to potentially fix this. Is that true?

3) Concerns about fees, scalability, and basic smart contract capability

Average fees are about 4x more expensive on Monero, which honestly isnt so bad. I can see that as just paying for the privacy, so whatever im cool with it. But what about scaling? Can we get Monero to world adoption levels? Will the blocksize keep growing and fit all of commerce in it?

And what about basic smart contracts? Like on BCH theres some stuff like covenants and escrow stuff, and you can even build sidechains like smartbch on it. Can monero have sidechains? Does it have sidechains? What about a memo field / op return? Theres some usecases for that I think, im not sure how strong those usecases are, but one that comes to mind is memodotcash and decentralized social media (not that its really taken off on BCH, in all fairness)

4) Adoption?

I want to live off cryptocurrency. I have a Bitpay card. How do i live off of Monero? The only way i heard of is gift cards. Do i have to use gift cards forever now to live on Monero? Isnt that the hugest inconvenience ever? Also im not even sure what exchanges i can buy and sell from.

Anyways, these are my thoughts which i wish to discuss and straighten out. Please let me know what im getting wrong or right.

My goal is to support decentralized money for the whole world, and I dont care if that means reevaluating myself and the situation to assess that.

The Trend and Prospect of NFT Development

https://preview.redd.it/oule8qswhay71.jpg?width=900&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ae8640e9519d5410945a7ace4fc0ea4665dd5d7f

The public's understanding towards NFT may be more based on the incredible myths created by NFT. Those who play NFT must be familiar with Mr. 703. In 2017, they applied for more than 730 crypto-punk NFTs for free. So far, 6910 ETH has been earned from this, and they still have nearly 270 crypto-punk NFTs in their hands. What other shocking deeds of NFTs? Uniswap auctioned a pair of socks for $160,000, and the founder of Twitter auctioned $2.5 million for 5 words. Is this surprising? Also, on March 11, 2021, a NFT digital artwork "Everydays: The First 5000 Days" created by the artist Beeple was sold at Christie's auction house for a bid of more than US$69 million. More and more peoples interested on NFT, NFT has indeed become popular in all circles.

2021 is known as the "first year" of NFT,The emergence of NFT essentially reduces the verification threshold before the transaction, thereby the trust cost in the transaction is reduced to a very low level, while fully releasing the liquidity of its value, at the same time, it also guarantees the scarcity of its value in the transaction. So what is NFT actually? The full name of NFT is Non-Fungible Token, which also is non-homogeneous tokens. Artworks, tickets, domain names, etc. can all be NFTized and are unique. There are no two exactly the same NFTs, which provides NFTs with good collection value.

Different from cryptocurrency, in cryptocurrency, you have one bitcoin and I have one bitcoin. These two bitcoins are essentially the same and can be exchanged with each other. Each NFT is unique, which means the value of each NFT are actually different. The directions for obtaining NFT include independent creation, participation in the primary market issuance of NFT, acquisition from the NFT secondary trading market, participation in NFT airdrops, etc.!

NFT ecological classification:

In terms of functional attributes, NFT ecological applications can be divided into four layers: basic infrastructure layer, project creation layer, transaction circulation layer, and derivative application layer.

The Trend of NFT Development :

  1. Digital Artwork

One of the most well-known of NFT is to allow artists to use tokens to represent the ownership of their digital artworks, which can greatly enhance the liquidity of artworks. Nowadays, the online art market is centralized, the operation process is not transparent, and the platform take a lot of profit from it. Artists have to pay huge fees to put their works on the platform, and they can only blindly trust that the platform will display and distribute their works fairly. With NFT, artists can easily sell their digital art pieces and get income from selling NFT on the secondary market. This is a sustainable economic model. As the most popular example we mentioned early, Beeple adopts the popular ERC721 certificate standard to directly realize the digital artwork and prove the ownership of the official version through encryption technology. In addition, thousands of digital artworks are also sold through the issuance of NFTs, benefiting artists from all over the world.

  1. NFT Financialization

With the maturity of the main blockchain infrastructure and the more exposure and understanding of NFTs, NFT platforms and projects are becoming new investment. Driven by the record of auction prices for artworks by artists such as Beeple, more and more funds flowed into NFT, related companies and projects. According to incomplete statistics, in the first half of Year 2021, more than $1 billion of funds flowed into the NFT industry. In the latter part of the third investment cycle bull market, although the overall market is not good, but there are still many large investments. On March 2021, Dapper Labs announced the completion of a US$305 million financing, which is the largest financing in the NFT field this year. On July 2021, OpenSea, the world's largest NFT market, raised US$100 million in Series B financing, with a valuation of US$1.5 billion. Blockchain game and NFT developer Animoca Brands raised US$139 million.

  1. GameFi

The combination of NFT and DeFi brings out Gamefi and it brings unlimited surprise for NFT. In the middle of the year, the sales of the NFT game Axie Infinity soared. According to CryptoSlam data, as of 7th August, the cumulative transaction of the NFT game project, Axie Infinity exceeded $1 billion, became the first ranking in the NFT market in terms of transaction. The rapid rise of Axie Infinity drives the development of the entire NFT market sector. Axie Infinity uses an innovative game earning ecosystem to incentivize players to expand the potential market for NFT games, bring more players into the encrypted ecosystem, and increase their participation. The biggest difference between "Play-to-Earn" and the traditional Internet game "Free-to-Play" is users could receive corresponding rewards and earn income by participating in game. The time and labor paid are also assets, which are part of personal wealth. When the game becomes a bridge linking on and off-chain, this value can be reflected in reality.

The Prospect of NFT Development:

  1. Decentralized NFT

At present, there are still many problems on the storage of NFTs, and most of the NFT trading markets have not yet been completely decentralized. Although NFT itself is stored on the chain, but due to the size of the files are too big and cannot be stored on the chain, the relevant pictures, videos and other files corresponding to the NFT are still stored off-chain, but the hash value data of these files is stored in the NFT token. This could be a great hidden danger for NFT holders. Therefore, decentralized storage has become the important issue to be concerned. Now, decentralized storage systems such as Arweave and IPFS are more closely linked with NFT, we could continuosly focus on their future development.

  1. Diversification of NFT

The interset of public towards NFT product market will be increasing day by day, there will be more famous musicians, artists and athletes join this craze. In addition, people are selling NFTs for charity and reselling artworks for millions of dollars. Diverse types of projects and events could be created on NFT market. The key here is that any project that wants to stand out must have a unique product or solve NFT-related issues.

  1. More real and physical assets on the chain

The main meaning of NFT is to provide an on-chain channel for real-world items and act as a bridge between the physical world and the blockchain world. In addition to the existing game props, art collections and other applications, in the future, more physical assets such as real estate and copyright can be chained and exist in the form of NFT. Besides, NFT can also be seen as a chain process of real hobbies, such as movies, music, drama, fashion, etc., and the gameplay will be more diverse.

The core implementation of decentralization is to put assets on the chain. The storage of assets on the chain is a prerequisite for trust and fairness. Same goes to NFT, the technological breakthroughs in the more distant future may bring the application scenarios of NFT to a new heights. In the future, the potential development of NFT may focus on meta-universe, oracle, and social display. As our demand for asset ownership and property rights continuesly rise and develop, more disruptive experiments will occur in NFT.

Why I like Bitcoin and its community

I am not probably not in it just for the money, even though I consider the capital gains over all these years to be a pleasant bonus.

I believe that the government is increasingly lying, deceiving, and manipulating. They have undoubtedly always been liars, but now it has become truly insufferable. In my impression, the best default position is not to believe a word they say.

In mainstream society, lots of people attack me for that point of view.

That is why I automatically end up in the niches, that is, in the nooks and crannies of society where they are more accepting of my total disbelief of contemporary officialdom.

I really do not believe that they have authority to invent new laws with which to tell me what to do. Furthermore, I do not even see why I should believe that?

Furthermore, the most happy event for me of the year, is that the 30-country military occupation force, NATO, finally got smashed to smithereens and kicked out of the mountains of Afghanistan by some local hill tribes.

If that does not rein in their arrogance, then I wonder what will? I am still rejoicing that great news!

Over all these years, Bitcoin has been another really fruitful and profitable way to show my middle finger to the mainstream liars, and to enjoy some more schadenfreude.

Let's keep going up while they keep going down!
