I mean they're hyper-advanced, self-replicating machines right? That means they're probably thousands of times better at processing than an RTX 4090 Super. They could be being used for Bitcoin Mining after they rose up and killed Super Citizens during the events of the first game. Thats what I would do. Then I'd make them dump all their earnings into NFTs to really make them suffer.
